hey guys, i was reading more about Easter Island, it was amazing to know that the incas made these big statues 12-14 tall statues, and the top hats were 10-15tons alone... i was reading and they said in this book that statues were moved by the minds of two brothers who were HIGH PRIESTS. And every part of the rock that were on the island came from different parts of the world... very interesting stuff!!!! its interesting reading... if anyone has any reply's on this id luv to hear from ya!

It wasn't the Incas. My people stuck to the mainland. Easter Island had its own indigenous population (which eventually polluted itself out of existance). How they built the moais is a matter of record, since they were still around when explorers who could write stumbled onto the island. Simple mechanics and leverage. Thor something or other replicated the construction of one a few decades ago. I'll see if I can find a link to it.

The people of old were alot more dedicated to their work than they are today. Mind of Matter maybe, but i feel it's more hard work and sweat, as it should be.
Stellar

non-fiction, lots of theories on Easter Island.. they say no way people can carve such images out of stones that heavy.. experts say it would take lots of time, and man power... and experts say, the statues left on the island are left there because when the aliens or some sort of supernatural left, the civilzation could not build anymore w/out them... lots of interesting theories out there... and it will always be a mystery, and new theories will come to life.... that what makes history fun!!!
