Howdy! I came across this site kinda by mistake (been looking for sites to exchange links with for my site, if you really must know), but I'm quite into all this stuff so I had a look around and loved the look of it, found a busy forum and thought "ooh, all the better!"

So, I wandered over into Off Topic looking for a newbie welcoming topic and found that there wasn't one (what's up with that?!), so thought I'd make a topic of my own. Then, my experience on forums jumped in and said "hold on, you'd probably lock this if it was posted on gamesradar", so I thought I'd better make a decent topic out of it.

So here's my lame attempt at making a crappy first post into something not shunned by the masses (because I know it will be anyway, simply because my post count isn't past tripple figures yet). Every forum has a bit of it's own personality, so tell me this ones. Who should I look out for? Do you actually have (shock horror) girls posting on this forum? (don't laugh, gamesradar has something like 98% males, and a lot of those are gay, bless 'em) Do you have any stupid rules such as a forbidden word that mods take unkindly to, or like some really idiotic site I registered to the other day that deleted my posts because I post in colour. I soon left that one, I tell ya. A vegetable's got to have his identity online, hasn't he now?

Anyway, I'm going to bed now, but when I come back on here late morning tomorrow, I expect to be "in" with what I should expect in my future posting on this board. If it's locked, I'll just cry. No really, I will.

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes! You seem like a cheerful enough bunch, so I guess I'll stick around a bit. I know all about getting addicted to forums - my gamesradar post count is over 7000, and I'm already past 800 posts on Poop Gang, and I only started the site 3 weeks ago today!

Anyway, does anyone know where I can buy a donkey suit for my trip with Moe?

PS: Is everyone having trouble reading the green? I use it on all the forums I post on, so I don't want to change it unless I really, really have to. Perhaps you could just hightlight the text or something if you can't read it properly.
