Some times when I'm in a quite room and there are electronics on I can hear a buzzing in my ears. Is there some kind of scientific reason for this or paranormal even?

KCET, It sounds to me like you may be suffering from Tinnitus.

This site Click Here will tell you a bit more about it.

KCET- The same thing happens to me too. I can sometimes pick up fluctuations in frequencies that people around me claim not to hear; Like a high pitched "weeeeer" sound. I think it might depend on your sensitivity to sounds.

i can tell when a tv is on in another room even if the tv was muted. its like i can "sense" it.

Same here KCET, it happens to me too, don't worry you are just more receptible to high pitch sounds, I can also hear a tv that's on MUTE it's like hearing the electricity runing through it. thumbsup.gif

I hear it too all of the time, which is why I have to sleep with a fan on at night, because that buzzing/whining noise is too annoying! That noise alone is enough to keep me from sleeping at night.
