Hi all! I'm new to the board. Someone from a different message board (about a scary video game) linked to a topic here and I started reading around and I got pretty interested in it.
I used to watch all the paranormal specials on the Travel Channel, and the Discovery Channel and stuff and I used to love the idea of getting in contact with another being.
My brother and I used to joke around because we all thought our house was haunted because some strange things (small things) used to happen around here.
-Closet doors being open when you come back into the bedroom
-The door to the water heater slamming open & closed in the garage
-Certain rooms in the house being colder than others
What are some fun and interesting things I can do around the house to get in tune with any entities in the house? I think I have a Ouija board somewhere, but I don't think it works with only one person.

do not use a Ouija board that is the worst mistake you could make by trying to contact a ghost you will end up paying for it trust me

I was directed here too by a mate who was chatting about the Crying Boy paintings cos my Nan had one, and then I made the mistake of looking at "Hands Resist Him"....freaky as you like!
This is a cool site tho...

Welcome, to the both of you!! I TOO am new here, been posting for a couple days. Long time reader, first time member actually. But like stated above, I highly reccomend NOT trying to disturb things that otherwise should be left undisturbed. In my opinion, the few people that have paranormal experiences are gifted in some way and as much as a gift can be positive, it can be negative also. I am an avid reader of the paranormal but I would never wish to experience some of the things other people have. Some good, some terrifying...I choose to be left out of it all 
BTW, this is a great site with endless amounts of knowledge...Time well spent
