They did not last long. I believe a Roman Cathloc Bulgarian named Adam(Wasought?) founded the Illiuminiti around 1750. However, yes it is true the Illuminiti infiltrated the Freemasons, there was a German Freemason ( I don't remember his name) who dissagreed with the Illuminiti's New World Order theologies. The German Freemasons with the help of the Bulgarian police crushed the Illuminiti. There was only 2,500 members when it was destroyed. Adam Wasought was ruined and crawled back on his hands and knees begging to be reinstated in the Cathloc Church. I do not know if he was burned or not.

You guys should read the Book "Angels and Demons"... by Dan Brown, same guy who wrote the amazing book "The Da Vinci Code" and because of that book many books came out trying to prove him wrong, but anyways, it talks a lot and the whole book of "Angels and Demons" revolves around the "Illuminati" so i dont no if youve read it but if you havent its great.. and there is a lot of fact.. and the Illuminati i believe are still out there today.. there a huge UNDERGROUND organization..

Really that add didn't convince me about anything. I f it funny how the 4 main writers on the group can be located in the same state, 3 of whom live in the same city. Their claims that the building is owl shaped as a sign... er what?! And as for the money having a pyramid, that doesn't appear on all nations notes, also wouldn't it make more sense if the belief that this is a calling card arose from them being their in the first place and some over imaginative people getting hold of money.

Browns work in my opinion is not creditable. And he sheds a very poor light on Freemasonry. Brown is basically like many people on this site are, fearful of the Masons and believe they are tring to set up a "New World Order".

I believe that the illuminate has ties everywhere and can be linked to the Biblical kaninites (Children of Kaine, son of satan, born of Eve in the Garden of Eden)

The reason there were so many books "trying to prove him wrong" is because he was wrong. Credible historians have debunked his theory on many different aspects. The DaVinci Code is nothing but fiction. Interesting fact: The book is a fictional novel, yet on the first couple pages, Brown writes: "FACT: All facts in this book have been found true." or something to that extent. Interesting that a fictional book would have that at the begining. In fact, when ABC (or NBC or CBS, whichever had a special on the book) went through interviewing 12 historians before they found one that can actually agree and make Brown seem credible. Many people read the DaVinci Code and think that the books to debunk it are ridiculous, read those books against it and they lay out point by point, Brown's Facts are wrong.


As far as the illuminati is concerned...from what ive read and heard, they are now incorporated in the freemasonry, the two groups joined together in the 1950's. Many books and websites out there on this, just research buddy

The illuminati , free masons ect all these secret societies are held in a fearful kinda respect, I feel they are little more then terrorists, why are so many people quick to point to eta, bin laden sadam , and say oooh they are bad but when when we speak of the masons ect we talk as though they are some super clan to be respected from a distance, and not challenged, personally i disagree with any kinda secret society, why be secret unless you have some thing to hide. bad people all f them inmo
