Hard to say. I think that the frist 2 are definitely real. The only one that might be fake to me would be number 4 and 5. I've heard that these are hoaxes, but I believe the others to be real.

I don't know

, the first could be true, the 2nd maybe, scientists believe that the movie from where it comes from could be real (they are still debating on it), 5 and 6 I know for sure they are hoaxs. And No.4 looks very fake to me.

I think 5 and 6 have already been debunked.

I've always liked the first one, but it's hard to tell just how big it really is. I think the Patterson pic is real. I HOPE the third one is. I love that pic. I think the 4th and 5th have been proven fake, and the jury is still out on the last one...

The first photo (giant python)is claimed to be from the Congo isnt it? Its regarded as real but not proven. So its not fake but not proven real.
The second photo is real, ive studied the patterson footage and cant find anything wrong with it at certain FPS's.
The third photo is taken from Canada isnt it??ogopongo ot whatever its called?
The Fourth Photo is the Surgeons 1936 one isnt it..Thats fake
The fourth Photo was taken off the Queensland coast by a professor who was there looking for this type of thing.
While not fake it doesnt show what it loks like, we beleive its a school of fish just in an unusual formation, the third and fourth images in this he took dont show it like this.
The fifth photo is real of what is believed to be a Spider Monkey.
I voted six as the most real because it is a real image of a real monkey, the others are of real things (in a few of them) but not accepted as fact so no6 is the only real one, although as I said above in my post, not al of them are fake.

6.) Again, real. It's that chimp that had messed up genes that they thought was the missing link... Until they tested him and found out he was just a chimp. Certainly a special fella, though. He died a while ago in a zoo where he received special attention. Said to have veyr human like atributes. Walking upright, etc, but he wasnt taught to do so. He also looked very human like. Scary almost.

50 feet is about 15.2 metres (multiply by 0.3048) but that's still VERY long. The longest snake found here was a 30 footer (python). That picture though, looks to me like the snake is much longer than 50 feet!

I still stick with #2--does a basking shark really have suck a long snake-like body?? Looks like a giant sperm to me! But I thought that one was proven to be a school of fish...anyway, the snake pic looks totally cut and pasted, as does the first one of Nessie--the 2nd Nessie was proven to be a fake...the monkey, i dunno--it doesnt look like any bigfoot I've ever "seen", but it is possible its a deformed ape-i believe its real, but not a bigfoot.

Young basking sharks have very thin elongated bodies... Though it does look a little too long and thin. Perhaps the water is creating an illusion, i dunno. I read that men where examining the sharks when this photo was taken.

Ahh ha, so i was wrong.. but it seems that this is the same 'sort' of thing as Oliva the mutant ape. 2 of the ape like beasts where found though...? Thats freaky. Makes you wonder if it
is a new species.
The thing about the snake is that the picture looks so fake it's hurting my eyes. I could make that photo... Photoshop and some skill, easy as pie. It could be real, but i very much doupt it. It's also hard to tell how big exacly the snake featured is in comparason to the landscape. That could be a worm wriggling accross moss for all we know...
I do beleive that out there somewhere there has got to be a giant mutant annoconda, maybe several. HUUUGE snakes. That's not unbeleivable, what is unbeleivable... is that photo. Sorry, it suuuucks. =P

Do you think you could find a pic of one? I'm still having a hard time believing this is a basking shark. Although I don't have an explanation as I don't believe its Nessie either. All the pics i could find online look like normal sharks with different mouths, but I'm sure these are adults. Here'sa pic I found:

I'll have a look and ill scan the book that said about that pic tomorow if i can find the damn thing....
The mouth would certainly justify that picture. But the fins and tail...? Yeah i see your point. I stil think that it's the water distorting the image, or perhaps the shark is pulling it's fins in as it 'basks' there. I don't know, but i do beleive that to be nothing more than a shark. These type of shark also come very close to the surface, like seen in the other pic.

[COLOR=red] sorry to disappoint some of you out there but the last photo is alleged to be a fake. It is recongnized as a spider monkey, which can grow to over 4 feet tall but if you look closely at the image does not have the feet of a bipedal like the bigfoot/sasquatch/yeti...etc. There are no rear pictures of de's ape which is believed that he did not take them because it would show a tail and prove his ape to be a hoax.

I like the first photo because it reminds me of a microscopic image, like a roundworm in muscular tissue of an animal but, I don't pretend to know anything.
Bigfoot, right? The eye-holes in the mask give it away.
The third photo is of "nessie" and I believe has been proven to be a hoax.
Fourth photo would be the same as above. A log, I believe it was.
Unless that is a refraction to make the image look bigger that it really is, that creature would have eaten the man and his boat, I think. Hoax.
This image disturbs me. I think it is real and some one should call the ASPCA! It is mean to abuse animals.
Good survey, I think.

Your avatar in fact is a photo of some US marines holding up

At the
Fortean Unconvention 2002, I saw Richard Freeman gave a fascinating talk about the legendary Naga. When I was writing up my report I found
this link, which is the exact talk he gave! Hope you find it interesting.
