Saw this photograph that was linked from another site. Supposedly taken by an amateur astronomer. Clever fake or is something in orbit around the moon?

seems like a fake to me. the object is very close to the moon, yet it is in focus and the moon is not. also, some very strange color effects going on in that photo.
