i don't think so because some people they ether sleep on then self's weird or just have a sleeping dissorde
Problaly some form of sleep paralysis.This gives you the sensation of being choked and you cant move.Being half asleep you dream up a figure thats choking you.I dont think its a alien

I just find it a little difficult to believe that aliens are so knowlegedable about the human mind that they can manipulate memories at will, yet seem to need to study the human body continously.

No! Their lookin for a certain thing! We (humans)are built up with a different genetic code from one and other, there is something they want, but what is the question?
Maybe they created us along time ago from the DNA of their supreme leader. Now they're looking for the exact replica of his DNA so they can ressurect him...

Yea, a lot of alien encounters can be linked to problems in the REM sleep cycle, but there are a few that cannot. Like an encounter when you are driving or like the Allagash Abductions were they were on a canoe. As well as abductions those that do not follow any part of the REM sleep cycle…

For what reason? I'm sure no one really wants to be violated!
Its not simply about being violated, you are treated like an animal; none of your natural rights are valid, and they do horrible things. Not to mention you are left with feelings of paranoia, it’s not good.
I don't beleive in Alien experimentation. But I'll come in just to say:
Humans are animals. We have no natural rights. Those rights given to are done only by human society. It does not make us better than animals.

Actually the ideas behind the Magna Charta and other English documents, as well as the political philosophies of John Locke and others are all based on the concept of natural rights. That humans have intrinsic rights that exist even without society and that cannot be revoked…
Humans are apes, we have as much intrinsic rights as Chimpanzees, i.e. what society decides to give us. Society is just a more advanced version of the basic social group driven by pact mentality.
Oh, I am well aware of the fact that humans are simply apes. And yes I do know that society is merely an extension of the basic social groups driven by pact mentality, however society has placed into us certain expectations from other sentient beings and when they are not met, it can cause panic and even fear, I don’t think anyone likes to be treated like on of our beastly siblings.

well , in my opinion , if there are really aliens and they don't have moral ethics so WHY not they do experiments on human , after all some scientists do experiments on other helpless creatures

as i remeber it happened to me more than three times in my life .
when i went to sleep , i closed my eyes and then started waiting to sleep ,suddenly i go to sleep and dream , the first time i dreamed about falling from stairs , the second from a building , the third from a cliff , while i was falling i felt a strange feeling in my chest , when iam nearly going to hit the ground i wake up panickly .
well that happend , BUT , i don't believe it's about aliens , some researches say that falling dream is as dream as humanity it self , some scients say it is an inherited fear from the time when some men used to sleep on trees , the reason why no one hits the ground is because if we do we will have nervous strike and we will be dead (god is so merceyful with us ) so as i said , no aliens .

perhaps they are seeking members of their own race who have died on earth and have been reborn as humans, so unless there was a way to communicate with them, they'll continue to abduct seemingly random humans

Are Ufologists a credible source?
And really, since you are saying these happen in a deep sleep, this could be caused by the person having a dream. An when some people have bad dreams they can wake up screaming or may be feeling "panicked."
im not saying that i have been abducted by aliens or any thing like that.but i got these weird scars on my back that look like ive been hit with a whip. there long and thin. and there sortha raised. and the weird thing about the whole thing is that my friend got the same looking scars a few months after me. and we both dont know how we got them.
oh yeah if any u know thats gotten scars like that can u please post it on this site.

you all are a funny group eh? if aliens are so advanced, they why are the work to keep it secret and make them forget? why not just fly down in a big city, bring a couple thousand people up to your ship with a little red beam, and fly away? I mean come on! It just seems if they are actually taking people, they are taking unnecessary steps to hide it

We could tell a cheesy knock- knock joke. Since they are from another planet, they may not have heard them all. This will make them laugh and give us time to escape such probing.

people get scars and cuts and alot of the time they don't know where or how thay got them so there imaginations can go wild and make up crazy stories some times
