huh.gif I haven't heard much about Wally,But I do believe it exists. There is actually underwater tunnels that join most of Canada's lakes together. Some even slowly lead to the ocean. So Ogopogo,Wally and all the other sea creatures could be the same one or one of many that travel between the lakes. That is why people give different descriptions of them often.I know this because I am a Scuba diver which makes this stuff even more interesting to me,and also because this was on the discovery channel many times a while ago. cool.gif

i heard that Wallowa Lake is connected via tunnels to Lake Tahoe--someone dissapeared in Wallowa Lake, and their body washed up on the shores of Tahoe...I could easily believe that its one creature travelling, or a bunch of them going from Lake to Lake---especially since Wallowa Lake is so deep that the bottom has never been explored.....

I really don't think all the lakes are connected maybe like to or 3 but all of them... I have a hard time believing that. Post and underground waterway map up to prove your point.

If you assumed from my post I meant every single lake is connected, I am sorry--I wasn't trying to say they are ALL connected.

I was just stating what I have heard and can offer no proof...why don't you look around on the interent and find out for yourself if you're so interested in proof?

I know for a fact that all of BC's lakes are connected,if you don't believe me then tell the Discovery channel that they are wrong. Then you might believe me.Most of the lakes in Canada are connected except for some on the east coast. There was a scuba diving team that went out about six months ago and discovered this, and yes they are part of the discovery channel. And it would take forever to find individual maps of all the lakes. So i'm not doing that, because I have better things to do.But if you want to then go ahead,I hope that you do realize that I know what I am talking about. tongue.gif

Well I live in Canada and I have never heard about this (then again i'm not on for geography). Like I said show me an underground water way map and thou shalt be believed.

Meh too lazy and its not me who has to prove a point huh.gif
Canadian Rottweiler
I'm not trying to just prove a point to you, because I know that I'm right. But I will look a bit anyway.I will only look for a tunnel that joins 2 lakes just to show you that it's the same with most of the lakes. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

You got to be kidding "Canadian". No country in the world have more lakes then Canada and now you say that all the lakes have a tunnel connected to each other.
When I was a kid i believed that there was a tunnel between Loch Ness and a monster lake in Sweden called Storsjön so that the monsters could swim between the lakes. This sounds like a similar tale.
