PATERSON, New Jersey (AP) -- "My mommy got hit," the tiny voice on the other end of the 911 call said. The girl said mommy was in the bathroom and wasn't breathing.
A dispatcher kept the girl on the line as long as she could, but the child finally hung up after five minutes, saying she was tired. Authorities could not trace the call -- made from a cell phone -- and have run into a series of dead-ends in their search for the girl.
"The worst-case scenario is there's a 4-year-old girl home alone and her mother is injured," said Paterson police Capt. Danny Nichols.

Full Version: Mysterious 911 call
That's scary, last year there was a lady found dead of natural causes in her unit in Melbourne. The neighbours etc didn't even notice something was wrong. Her body was found 18 days later along with her toddler who was also there, but was to young to do anything to survive. It breaks my heart to think of the poor little thing, I can't understand how no one heard her crying or something. 
I read about that on cnn.com...... Strange huh !! wonders if it could of come from the past as a late call

thats totally f***ed up when ppl make prank calls to emergancy services... they dont realise there is someone in dire need of help, and they are waisting precious moments for that real person to get through.. i hope karma happens badly to that person 
People that make prank calls like that are disgusting, they are scum and should be severly punished!
