I don't see the point of gmail, and i have heard about things like the gmail emals being automatically scanned for material that would be considered terrorist-like, and also so they know what junk to send you (if you talk about shopping, you'll get shopping ads).

Tell me some of the benefits of gmail.

Well lets see the biggest thing is that you never have to delete an email . you can just archive it and bring it up later and it doesnt take away from your bandwith.

I've got 10 invites.

I hate to break it to you, but the government scans ALL emails, gmail or not.
They look for messages with key words.
For example, if the words "bomb" and "president" are in the same email, it raises a red flag.

I've been using gamil for a few weeks now, and I must say their spam filter is great and their storage is phenomenal. Couldn't ask for more.
