nessie 10 i think is just a picture of two plesiosaurs FAKE
15 looks like a sock puppet and is way to blurry to be considered real FAKE
nessie 14 is just some waves FAKE
and nessie 12 if u look at the picture you will see a little opening between the bump so it cant be a rock or anything possibly REAl (MAYBE)
you may have to zoom in on it

The one with the two dinos in it...
Loch Ness has a visibility of a little less than two feet. It is a seriously opaque peat lake. There is no way that you could get a shot like that.
A far as Nessie sticking its head up out of the water like that...I can't think of any animal with a skeletal structure that would allow it to lift its head up like that. Especially a marine animal, who would have to keep it straight ahead of itself as it swam.
The only one I would not classify as fake off-hand are the indistinguishible smudges taken from a distance. Those I would classify as unknown, and I personally doubt they show anything alive.

Picture 13 is a really cool picture, but it is pretty obvious that it is a fake. They all look fake, which is ashame because I would love to see one that is the real thing!
But good job Canadian, you found tons of pictures!

The pic of the 2 swimming is actually a painting. I wish I could remember the name of the artist, but I have seen in before. It's called Love in the Loch or something 'romantic-ish'.
And I think the Nessie 10 is actually an elephant's trunk as it's swimming.

i think there is a good chance tat nessie exists but most of those look fabricated, and some of them rather poorly at that

hello all im a newbe here!!! Ok I just finished looking through the photos of supposed nessie and and I know that two of them nessie #10 & nessie #15 are real well real in the line that they are real animals. both pictures 10 & 15 show what appear to be nessie sticking his/her head & neck out of the water, when if reality its just an elephent under water sticking its trunk out for air. Trust me there are alot more of these photos trying to be passed of as nessie. They have all been surfacing through the net in the past 5-10 years. For the other photos most have been photoshopped but I really dont wanna get in to that now, havnt had my morning coffee yet!!!
So I hope this clears some things up for Canadian. I just wish there was a way to stop all these ridiculous hoaxs. Its not enough they have to create something to turn into a unknown animal, now they go out take a known animal and try to turn it into a unknown. justin

I do agree that people that take pictures of this stuff should not say it's nessie if it's a known animal. They should also not make up hoaxes. If there were no such thing as hoaxes, then we would easily be able to obtain proof, and not have these problems.

Firstly, congratulations with the pics. It must've been a hard search. So yeah, propz to ya.
Unfortunately, I must agree with the majority- most of them look fake. But what I don't get is the "sock puppet" trick. Wouldn't the sock be all soggy? & that must be a big sock.

The new Nessie photo is actually part of a series of photos by Roy Johnston in 2002. You can read about that here
http://www.lochnessinvestigation.org/Gray.htmlAccording to these people they are not believed to be real.
I'm not sure about the others yet. If I find more info then I will let you know!

Canadian Rottweiler, have to agree with most of the other replies here. Nothing conclusive, and some pretty obvious fakes.
The image of the 2 'Nessies' is actually a painting by the naturalist Sir Peter Scott, who coined the pseudo scientific name for Nessie: Nessiteras rhombopteryx (apparently an anagram of 'monster hoax by Sir Peter S')
The image I've always found the most interesting is the 'flipper' photo. Even thought the image usualy seen is enhanced almost beyond recognition from the original included here

Hey pal
it looks like all of them are fake, unfortunally. Many of them were so far away, that it could have been anything from a branch to an otter or beaver. Anyways, as much as I would like to believe, it just isn't enough solid proof for me
But some of the pics were pretty cool

[font=Arial Black][size=7]Hi, I'm new to the forums but a long-time reader of UM. I have seen those Loch Ness pics before and find them too good to be true (fake). Although I truly hope an unknown animal live in the loch, I don't believe those are true photos of the animal. Loch Ness is agreat mystery, I hope it lasts!

I was visiting the loch one day and I met a guy who had been living at the Loch for the last two years with a camera waiting for nessie to appear. He told me he wasnt the only one and in fact there was a quite a group of folk all living around the edge on the loch in tents and camper vans waiting to see nessie. One couple had been there four years allgedly.
Personally I suspect that what people have seen in the past are seals getting into the Loch from the sea. There was a story that there waqas or is an underground channel or tunnel leading to sea.

It's true, there are people who practically spend their lives watching the loch. I think I read somewhere or saw it on T.V that there was a guy who saw something in the loch and was so convinced it was nessie that he sold his home to keep vigil at the side of the loch just to see what he saw again. I think he'd spent something like twenty years watching the loch without another glimpse. Hopefully it wasn't a seal or a floating log!
Was up at loch ness about a month ago and did see quite a few camper vans parked up at the side of the loch myself.

There once was a man in his car, it was already getting dark, and he actually had to wait until Nessie crossed the road from the Loch to the woods. He had to wait around 10 to 15 minutes until it had disappeared into the woods.. I do believe this man, and I also know for a fact that Nessie is no longer there. She died, actually, but only recently, between 2000 and 2004.
