Full Version: How do you Become a moderator?
I was wondering how you become a moderator. I would like to become one, but don't know how you join.
Moderators are picked by the site staff, usually those approached are long term members who have made a positive contribution to the site, and who are considered to be good candidates for the job.
Unfortunately you can't really apply for a moderator position, it's more of a 'don't call us, we'll call you' setup i'm afraid.

What about putting a big sign saying moderators needed only newbees need apply?! and just in front of the sign is a giant hole covered in sticks and leaves. So when they go to read the sign and fall in the hole they are captured and we can just continually do this to keep a giant stockpile of newbees, to use at our disposal.
