I personally use Photoshop (CS), because it's the only software that I'm well experienced with and have learned at College. I don't wanna spend anymore money for the newer version CS2 and have changed careers into the Sciences so, no need for anymore media-related softwares .

I'm having a schedule problem, not sure how long I have on the comp (i'm either kicked off the comp within' 30 minutes or 2 hours), but I will try and do what I can. I like doin' these Sigs in private, rather than having people around me, at home, gawking at my work lol. And I still hope the other Sig-makers are still out there.

That's look great The Scorpion. Simple but perfect. I actually go for the more complicated designs, which is why most of the ones I make, take me more than an hour or two. I know I'm sad...

That is an awesome sig, Scorpion.

It's a 140KB though. Forum limit is 50KB for a sig. Just saved it as a .jpg, with a tweak to get it under. It's now 48.1KB.

Got a smidgen brighter between the text and her on the .jpg though.

Just curious, Scorpion, what did you use to keep the color pattern the same for the text side of the sig? It's a great job on matching.

To keep the color pattern the same I used the clone stamp tool.

This file is bigger than 50 kb too, but my own sig is bigger too and it still shows up... Or is it like a rule that you can't upload sigs bigger than 50kb? I tried reading the rules about signature sizes, but it said the page was out of date
Anyway, if it has to be under 50 kb, can someone please shrink it? I don't know how to do that (Kratos, what do you mean with tweaking? What did you do?)

Tweaking - I use the free image editing program "PhotoFiltre" and when I save as a .jpg it gives me a compression opition for save. The higher the bigger the file, the lower the less. But it can screw up quality sometimes, but there is really no big difference between 90 and 100 and that's most times more then enough for a file. Most oversize files are set at 96, I have found.

This sig "rock" is set at compression #93, so now it is 48.7KB.

The Scorpion if you're using either Adobe Photoshop 7, CS, or CS2 (not sure)... but if you go under File and click Save for Web it'll give you the added option of lowering the jpg or gif quality format. That way your 50+kb can be compressed/shrunk below 50kb. Very handy.

I use CS2, and yes I know I can lower the quality for jpg, I tried that but then the text was barely readable...

I wanted to know something. Is there a way I can send something in the mail, ( a photo/picture - something ) so I can have it submitted and pasted on my screenname signature? Because where I am, I have no control on the net system - since it isn't mine it's public. Is there an adress? Because by the time I start getting from Psychic Spy to more and more stars, people are gonna think I am the biggest/ scariest weirdo ever with no info, no photos, artwork, quotes ect. I'm sick & tired of it.

Actually you may not need to. If you've got a USB memory stick or Hard disk, jus' save the pics in it and upload them directly from your Hard disk or USB memory stick and into one of your posts . Save ya the postal service.

And no you wouldn't be the only member on UM without an Avatar or Signature with over 2000+ posts. Although I understand what you mean
