Dragons....Exist?
Do dragons really exist? Some people would love to see the day dragons did exist. Dragons are very popular fairytale creatures, but we all know dragons don’t exist.........or do we?
It all started when a young girl named Sakura, who lived I Osaka Japan, was with her two friends Takuya and Lily at the park. It was one of those average days of summer when you just want to spend the day relaxing with your friends, and that’s exactly what they were doing. At least that’s what they were doing for a while, until Lily saw something behind a tree.
“What’s that!”Exclaimed Lily as she ran over to the thing she had seen.
“What?”said Sakura, looking startled.
Takuya and Sakura both rushed over to see what it was. When they got to the tree, they stopped dead in their tracks. There Was Lily, looking thunderstruck, and as Sakura turned to see what it was, she too, stopped.”What in the world?”Said Lily.
There, in front of all of them, was a tiny little scaly creature. The creature was blue and had emerald green eyes. His wings were small, but they could still manage to keep up the little creatures body. As they all stared at it, it suddenly flew high as the tree and whipped down the street. Sakura and the others followed it.
They ran and ran until the creature lead them into the forest, where he stopped.”About time,”said Takuya, as he wiped the sweat from his face.
Then, there was a blinding flash, and nobody could see. When they managed to open their eyes, the creature was gone! Takuya suggested thet they go over to his house to do some research on the creature.
After reading about the topic for about a hour, they found out that the creature was really a mythical fairytale monster called a dragon! None of them believed it because first of all, it didn’t look like much of a monster, and second of all, dragons hadn’t lived for thousands of years! But of course, knowing these 10 year olds, they started looking for this so called dragon of theirs.
The children searched for hours, but still,they saw no sign of the little dragon. Until.........
“Ahhhhhh!”yelled Sakura. Lily and Takuya heard the scream from different places in the area, but they still came running when they heard their friend yell.
