Ok, Me and My cousin (who lives in a different city and sometime comes in the holidays) were sitting in my grandmothers house, at about noon. A door was creeking so, being the nosey people we are, we went to look. We then seen a shadow on the wall in the shape of a wolf/Dog run past on the wall. It was all very weird but we didnt follow it up. The next year my cousin came again, this time MORE freaky. We simply walked around the backyard. We saw a shadow shape of a little fuzzy ball with legs and a tail and the dog, just running around the shed on the wall. We decided to study this paranormal 'thing' that we later found were called 'Shadow People', although we called them 'Shadow Creatures'.
Two years later (Last year)
I stood next to a table inside the shed. I heard rattles, i then seen the Little Fuzzy Ball Shadow.. i was about to run outside to tell Nick (my cousin) when he came running in saying "i seen him, i seen fuzzy" (fuzzy was what i named the ball, Nick named the dog shadow canine... )
He seen him on the outside fence... Now it gets scarey, I seen the shadow of a grim reaper type person (named him 'Grim') It then changed into the shadow of a crow and flew to the edge of the wall, It became a real crow as it hit the edge and it flew off. I seen the 'Grim' later but out of his hood RED SHADOW in the shape of fire was coming out, i ran inside and went to my room in my grandmother's house.
Nick followed me.
We have formed a Society called SSOA, Shadowers Society of A____ We call ourselves the shadowers and meet with other people who have claimed to see them.
what makes this more freaky is that we saw them most and more clear when we had our sunstones (a type of gem/rock), Like when the shadow was real and the fire thing. This is real, why else would i type this many words... please discuss this with me...

Well I have seen what I guess many are calling shadow people. It happens very, very fast a split second of a balck or dark grey figure. Now where I work I have seen just the legs there long thin and spindly these however are more of a off white or light grey in color. Why just the legs I don't know. They say the area I work at may be haunted becaise the northpoint battle was near there and or on the parking lot area in the 1800's. I don't understand not sure of what to make of it.

well if their black shadows they might be evil. or a warning.

ive never experienced anything like that but i have heard of it.

I recently saw a shadow move across the wall at the top of the stairs in my house. No one was up there at the time and I cannot conceive of anything that could have caused the shadow, I am certain it wasn't my own. It was the height of a person and moved fast as I approached the stairs to go up them, it seemed almost like it was running to get away from me or as though it did not want to be seen. This is just one incident in many that I have encountered in this house although I can remember a few unexplained incidents from my childhood, long before I moved here. My brother also claims to have seen "shadow people". I don't know what to make of encounters like this and tend to just put them to the back of my mind until the next thing happens then I'll do the same thing again. I'm begining to feel like one of those fools in the movies who despite every warning and every supernatural event insist on staying put in their ghost infested home until it's too late. Maybe it's time to move house!

Of course I 'm not trying to deny any of what you saw. I just thought I'd make the comment. These drugs for some can open up doors in you rmind that should never be opened.

Also, don't carry those stones around with you! Crystals have an atomic lattice like power that we can't understand or control. I can guarentee you these beings you are seeing are not benevolent, other wise they would not fill you with any fear.

Don't get in over your head, kiddo. And if it were me, I'd disband the society, because you don't know how far you will delve into these things, and they may begin to be a real and serious problem for you, as they have many others like you.

I, too, have seen these shadow things. But don't worry until you have one come strait at you like it's going to run you over and dissappear right before it gets to you. A friend of mine and I were standing around talking one night when we noticed a shadow on his front porch close to us then it just started comming toward us really fast. As it got to us it just dissappeared. Right after that both of us got really sick. We both started feeling really dizzy and puking. So, I would really be careful of them.

I have seen these shadow people all my life and I was actually physically attacked by them on 2 separate occassions...so to say that they are harmless is NOT true.

These symptoms of vomiting and dizziness are completely common with those of temporary, or even long term possesion. That must have been frightening for you!!!!!!!!! I don't know what the spirit had in mind for you, but by the way you felt after wards, It surely wasn't good!

woow, i've just been reading through and with so many saying they have seen them all I can say is i'm convinced.

The wierd thing was that both of us felt the exact same thing and almost at the same time.

I have heard one explaination, well more like a theory, on the ever popular Coast to Coast AM that the shadow people and just a carry over from another dimension. Which I can't say it's right or wrong, how are you gonna prove that there is more then just this one dimension, this one place and time?

This is a very odd phenomenon, I can't say that I have experienced seeing one of these creatures/inter dimensional beings, whatever, but it must have been terribly frightening for you.

Is shadow ppl something only special ppl can see? Or anyone? Errrm you can't see extra dimension human brain is not built to visualise it. Super string states that theextra 8 dimensions are rolled up smaller than a quantum meter, so no dice, no way.

Ive seen lots of 'shadow people' over the years, some i see as figures, some as amimals and some as just shapes. Ive taken to photographing them (when i can) i got some good photos (well i think there good, cause i know what i saw). I tend to see them just about every where. Ive seen some that scare me as theve been large disfigured figures and ive seen some that have made me feel kind of safe (thats the only work i can think to describe it). Sometimes i catch them watching me and thats kind of erie. Im unsure what they are or where they come from, but feel they can see us!

I feel EXACTLY the same way!

Truth is you can't win for trying. I've gotten nasty remarks for doing both. In the end I decided to just ignore the naysayers and do what feels right to me.


I think there are different types of "shadow people". I'm pretty much convinced that some are spirits that are trying to manifest physically, but perhaps don't have enough energy to do so fully. From many accounts I've heard, though, it seems that some "shadow people" are an actual type of entity in a category all their own.

I've always thought they were seperate to ghosts and spirits..

Here's one that will burn your noodle: Do you believe that the reason that some people have reported seeing "shadow people/forms" while other people have not, is directly related to to the area/home in question or the "sensitivity" of some people that other people(myself included) do not possess?

I don't beleive, from my own experiences, it has anything to do with the home/place they were seen. I may have misunderstood your post though..

I suppose I personally am quite sensitive to things like this.. I see and feel things others don't. Not saying anything big though.. Just like.. little things.

Well, if it counts, I've seen some shadow-things. However 80% of them I believe were tricks of the light and/or hallucinations. Namely I have seen a large shadow of a black panther jump into a wall a few dozen times. This, I attribute to hallucination and thinking about my now-deceased black pussy-cat.

However on the more important side of things, I did once while in a field, see a shadow moving along the ground. Kinda like a coyote-sized (not shaped) shadow twisting its way across the field. It moved something like how a rabbit does when spooked, zig-zaggy. However the thing was obviously not a rabbit, being not only too large, but obviously being little more than a shadow. Oh, and umm.. I did check the sky for birds, there was none. On top of that I'm pretty sure it was overcast.

About...4 weeks ago I saw a shadow in the shape of a man stand over my mum's bed (we were at my nanna's house and share a room there). When it realised I was lookign at it, it ran to the wall, then ran across the wall and through the door on my side of the room. I didn't actually feel scared or sick by it though, so I guess it was just curious and not malevolent.

No, I believe that you understood the meaning of my post exactly!!! So you believe that it has more to do with the person observing these "shadows" being more sensitive than most...rather than the shadows being localized to a house, land, or other fixed location, yes?

Were you wide awake or could you have been on the verge of sleep?

I've had a similar experience to this myself in a open field on a overcast day. Except the one i saw was tall and human shaped. It caught my eye as i was walking and so i stopped and looked around as you do. Although I was standing still it contiuned to move around me and to the back then disapear. I doubled checked for my own shadow which I didn't have I wasn't near any trees or over hanging growths and was complelty on my own

The other shadow experience I had was seeing a cat shadow walk out of my room as i was getting ready for bed. The only thing is we don't have a cat and my room is on the top floor

I don't think this has happened to me, but it sure sounds interesting. And how do you use fear as a bases for the benevolance of anything? Animals fear us even when we are only trying to help.

I have seen a shadowperson twice, in my appartment. Actually it is my hubby's pal. Lol, he's been followed by it since he was a child. I saw it twice, did a banishing ritual and haven't seen it since.

Why would you banish your husband's friend?

I was wide awake and not even close to sleeping. It always takes me forever to go to sleep in that house, and I have to go to bed early when there and therefore I wasn't even tired. It happened only at around...9:30pm.

funny story i dont know if any of u lived in the area that there was a huge black out a cuple years back but if u did then u know what i am talking about.


me and my friend who's real name i will not share lets just call him joe and me and my cuz were hanging out me and "joe" were sleeping out in his backyard in a tent and my cuzin had just gone back to my place for the night. at this point in time i was really in it magic and all that stuff and i had printed off some spells just befor the power went out. so anyway me and him were in his back yard and started going through the my book of spells and found this one that seemed intersting it was for guides or something like that i dont know for sure that night is kinda pushed back into the back of my head well it called for a dagger but no blood letting so it couldent of been that bad and something about saying the names of the 4 horse men but anyway after we did the spell we stared to see shadows but we didn't understand because it was pitch black out but we could see them. they had like i whitesh glow to them there were a lot of them like hundreds upon hundreds but they made us feel safe i mean reall really safe has anyone ever had an experance like this.

sounds like some sort of clarvoyant sight... being able to see into the real-time zone (the plane right above ours, between the astral and physical) the whole getting sick thing also sounds familiar, its a tactic that, those in the buisness, like to call negs. these things are not friendly!! insights warnings are something to carefully consider, especially if you have no backround in psycic self-defence...

it attracts all sorts of unwanted attention- from the negs. if you are going to persue these things, than you must take precautions, and if possible, find somebody thats more expierenced.

and fear is usually a good indicator of benevolance in these sorts of things, negative creatures carry a negative aura, and you can intuivily pick up on these things, good creatures carry a positive aura, and you pick up on that too
