I am having trouble developing any ability that i try, and the nearest school for psionics is 6 hours away. So i was wondering if there was an ability that people use everyday, and dont know it and it is easy to harness control over it.

I think the beginning technique is Telekinesis. That is the easiest recognizable(note I didn't say the easiest ability!).

What I mean by the easiest recognizable is that its probably the most common of all psychic abilities and has the most simplest of practices(note I didn't say easiest of practices).

The practice is making a psiwheel.

btw, when i tried telekinesis(it was a long time ago) i thought i had turned a psiwheel half a turn, but then my head hurt and it started twitching in the back of my head....after that i didnt practice anymore because i had to focus on school. Then about 6-9 months later(today) my head started twitching and i couldnt stop it, it twitched all day. Mabye this is a sign to start practicing telekinesis again?

i agree with Soul. though your head may have hurt before becoz you were working so hard. it helps to drink orange juice and stuff

If you're looking for an easy kinesis to start off with, I'd go with Aerokinesis. It's quite possibly the easiest-to-master kinesis power out there.
After that I would RECOMMEND either Electrokinesis or Pyrokinesis, depending on what you're better with. Those will be a big step towards Telekinesis. If you want to continue on to more difficult ones after Telekinesis, go with the lost art of Cryokinesis. I've only used it twice, and it worked, but it takes an IMMENSE ammount of meditation, concentration, and focus.

i dunno aboot ak being the easiest.. maybe to get results but its not the easiest to master entrily being able to cause huge winds and stuff.. geez that took me some practice

Lost art? Immense meditation? Wow... weird. When i started practicing ki and psi for the first time, before i went exploring the kenesis', it was like i unlocked a door. Instantly, about 2 weeks after beginning ki, i could use it. Like i have some strange connection to the element of pure cold. And the weirdest thing is i can use it without meditation now O_o And could someone please explain why it's called the "lost art" and such an elusive power for someone to have? Thanks ^^

yer it was the same with me.. cept i'd been using some of the kinesis alot longer likeak ive been using for aboot three years whenever i need it but i didnt know they had technical names back then...

ck is called the lost art (in my opinion) becoz not many people can use it. its like the hardest to find techs for.. reliable techs... and it can take so long to learn some people just wont (like me coz im lazy but guess i'll try my hand at it anyway)

well my brains fried from all of yesterday Psi/Magic?just plain unusual work and im all well "off" from the overload.. especially of empathy >.> so thats all i've got... may add more when i can thin properly lol!

To most people, cryokinesis is basicly unheard of, least of all known by name. Almost everyone has heard of telekinesis and pyrokinesis, but few know of cryokinesis. I have called it a lost art, because so few people (in comparison to the other kinetic abilities) have mastered it.

oh, i see. *is still special* myahahhahahah! anyway, i created a new practice tech (by mistake). Cryokinetic energies almost NEVER affect people, like in an attack. Yes, i will be using cryokinesis as a weapon. No, i will not abuse the power. and for the record, i hate DBZ. lol anyway heres the tech if anyone wants to know: 1. You must have mastered basic manipulation. 2. make a psi wheel. 3. Attempt spinning the wheel with cryo energies. AHA! genius! lol
