Hi all! Has anyone else realized how easily the term "UFO" is being used in today's society? Like, on TV specials, they might ask the question, "Do UFO's exist??" And if you actually think about it, they HAVE to exist because there are plenty of things that fly in the sky that we have no idea what they are! Anywa,y this has bugged me for quite a while, and I was wondering if anyone else has realized it. All the best!

Ufo's do exist. If someone sees something, and the don't know what it is, and it is flying, than it must be a ufo to them. If someone else looks at it and says, Wow. Thats a nice F-14B Tomcat., Than it's not a ufo to the other guy. But still, the first guy saw a ufo. Until someone tells him otherwise, it'll be a ufo.
Yeah exactly. I don't like how society uses certain terms so loosely. But if you see something YOU don't know the identity of, that doesn't mean it's a UFO, does it? Like, if I see a person and I don't know their name, then it's still not an unidentified walking person... SOMEONE knows their name. But, as you stated, in my point of view it IS a UWP. :-/ Hmmmm this isn't a very exciting topic, and it isn't relevent either lol. Goodbye.

UFO is just a term that is used for flying object that can;'t be explained, so anythin in the air can be an UFO. Maybe we have to invent a new term for real UFOs, UFOs with aliens in. Maybe ALUFO, Alien UFO...

Ufos have been around since the dawn of homo sapiens. They're in the Bible, they're mentioned in hieroglyphs, their in every major civilization's texts in one form or another.
They're not new. It's just the term that's fairly recent.
Anyway, a Ufo is a Ufo until it's identified. Then it's a plane, or a cloud, or whatever.

A better term is IAC, or Identified Alien spacecraft, for those in the know.
How is it better? It's just a label that somehow stuck with a few people.

What would happen if one met the other though? Would they cancel each other out and cease to exist?

i have been pondering on a thought ??!??That is what if ,lets say ...That time could be bent as was thought by (i think iamb wrong)einstein. as leonardo da vince drew plans for a plane.even farther back.its hard to explain, so please bare with me. Picture this that all those flying disks are some sort of time capsules breaking through time to watch a period of time in hystory. a plane has to have a shape to move forward , maybe the shape of the saucer can let it glide threw time by forms of magnetic and other stuff we have not discovered yet. it uses its shape to slice threw time it seems that they appear around important time areas.the more years advance, the more sightings we see. Because in the future ....we advance in technology to go farther in time.like any new inventiion the next one is even better.maybe its us. as always taking samples . trying to fix something else we destroyed or just studding our culture as archeologist do. well i have been thinking of a WHAT IF!...
