Well I didn't mean to offend anyone or judge them, if that's how they took it, it wasn't my intentions, maybe they got convicted in their own soul.
I'm not sure I believe you. You seem young, and it's the firey passion of youth that seems to repond to harshness with harshness.
Anyway, the only reason why I got a little excited was because they all started acting wild and crazy
Fighting fire with fire eh? I always though fire was best fought with water. Don't even get me started on the artistic symbols drawn from this.
Actually, you did. You called some one a "freakin" dumb non-believer.
All I did was offer my beliefs where they freely offered their beliefs and all of a sudden they got all crazy.
It was the way you "offered them". I have also offered my beliefs, and you will find in regards to my reply posts that the majority of the people offer me no animosity. Nor do I them. Nothing will get done when emotion run you opinions. Ecspecially in dbate over God's existance.
They are the ones who act like everyone is free to mention their beliefs and ideals as long as it has nothing to do with God. How hypocritical is that?
Again, people who are comfortable in their beliefs dont want them directly challenged. I see this in effect both from your posts, and other's posts. If you want to mention God, do not try to force it on them as fact. Present what you believe, and invite questions and comments. Never respond to them with emotion or passion, or that's what you'll recieve back.
They jump on me for supposedly belittling their beliefs while simultaneously doing the same thing to Christians.
Yes, BOTH sides here were wrong. You and them. Don't belittle other people's beliefs, and they wont belittle yours. I say this to both sides of the spectrum.
Also, if someone comes to you outright belittling your beliefs, respond with a soft answer.
A soft answer turneth away wrath.
I felt like this thread was Christian bashing or something, are you are all prejudiced against Christians?
Of course, because they have had bad experinces with christians, just like the bad one they had with you recently.
A soft answer turneth away wrath.
