I've no idea if this question has been asked before...I used search but found nothing related.

Britain is starved of UFO info and sighting reports as far as the High Street news stands are concerned. I mean...We only had one monthly magazine being sold in the South 'UFO MAGAZINE' and sometime earlier this year that magazine (and web site) just disappeared. crying.gif

Can anybody shed some light on this?

After the passing away of Graham Birdsall; his widow found it difficult to keep it running-which is understandable. Recently lost my mother-in-law, and the pressure is just too great after losing a loved one.

I know there were a couple of people who worked on the magazine that were setting up another website, but I can't remember the address. I have it around it here somewhere.

Needless to say, I met Graham Birdsall at Soulihall, as I was introduced to him by Tony Dodd-the man who investigated my case. His prescence in the field is greatly missed. He was a great guy to meet and very friendly.

I was saddened at his passing; in the sense, that I would not have the pleasure of speaking to such a kind and good man again. He really cared about people who were abductees, and was one too look deep into the subject. He had a true understanding on the nature of the ufo phenomenon; and what he didn't know he was prepared to find out. His lecture at Soulihall was brilliant.

Anybody who has had the pleasure of meeting him can tell you that he was the true source behind 'UFO MAGAZINE'. His input and experience made the magazine what it was.

Maybe somebody can come up with a replacement; but anybody who met Graham, knows that they have some big shoes to fill.

That is all that I know on the matter, but I hope it has been of some help. If I can find the website-I will post it for you and others looking for it.

I have enclosed a photo that I took in July 2002 that Graham published in his magazine. When he sent it back- he signed it 'thanks G'. He never doubted my sincerity. A lovely man and greatly missed by all that knew him.

rachelkleypassparrow...Thank you for the information and I am very sorry to hear this news. This is indeed a great loss...I'm sort of lost for words really!

And thanks for the photo...A truly stange looking object. What are the details behind this sighting?

Russell Callaghan (who worked with Graham Birdsall on UFO Magazine), and Gary Heseltine (the police guy who regularly contributed to the magazine) have launched an online magazine called UFO MONTHLY.

EDITED: It seems that the above website isn't working properly. Apparently, a new and improved website will be operational shortly, so keep checking for updates.

It was taken in July 2002. I have had several experiences that go back since I was four. It was through Tony Dodd, who investigated my case, that I met Graham.

I was drawn to the cloud, so I got my samsung 35mm camera and set it for telephoto. I was even drawn to where to point the camera. When the photo and negative came back from the developers-they had apologized, as they thought there was error with their equipment. When they realized it was an actual photo-they apologized for the delay.

I hadn't noticed the photo straight away, when the prints came. At first glance, I thought something was wrong with the photo; until I read what the developers had sent to me.

Having met Graham at Soulihall; I thought he might be interested in looking at it. To my surprise- he printed it in the letters page of when of the last issues he produced.

He never criticized, or judged me. He did ask if it showed up on the negative. When I told him it was on the negative-he felt it was a solid moving object. He asked me if I could see it with my naked eyes. I told him no, but I was sensing something within the cloud. All he said was that he wasn't surprised and had people with experiences like mine photograph some incredible objects.

I am glad that I spoke to him that last time. He really is missed; as an acquantince and as one of the best investigators and researchers in the field of ufology. sad.gif

Anybody who had the pleasure of knowing him knows what I mean. I knew him briefly; and I am glad that I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to such a fine man.
