I think there might've been people who tried it, but I'm guessing they all failed, otherwise, we would already know about it. Out of common sense, I would think it's impossible to restore so much lost mass and gather it out of nowhere. Although if you travel fast enough, you might be able to see the future...So it is possible. But then, could you get back? I doubt it. We can speed up time, but can we slow it down?

In my opinion science is having a difficult enough time determining what time is and its properties under different conditions. Gravity effects time...speed effects time...who knows what else. What time is, where it applies and where it doesn't isn't totally clear at this point.
Physics is not my strong suit, but I believe that we are a long way away from understanding time thouroghly enough to be able to begin tinkering with it.
So no, no scientist have created a time machine. Of that I am certain...

I know that no scientist has created one because otherwise the whole world would already know. What I'm researching is if any scientist has attempted a reasonable experiment

Time Travel would be impossible at this time however Time viewing might be examined I would think. The idea of projecting a person through time would involve the actual dematerializing of object/person so I cant see that as possible. I see Time Viewing within this century but NOT travel
