I am in my step dad's office right now, and their is a window looking out onto our front porch and sidewalk/driveway. About 5 minutes ago, I heard what sounded like a basketball bouncing outside on the sidewalk or at least somewhere close by. I was shocked at first, but went to go turn on the porch light to see if anyone was out there. No one. I went back to the comp. and agin I heard the basketball. At this point I was scared ( our house is not really in a neighborhood, but actually kinda isolated ) because our house is prone to spooks and creepy sh**. I almost pissed my pants, but finally the noise stopped. I feel like I am being watched now, and I am to damn scared to get up and close the damn blinds! I hate it when ghosts scare you on purpose!..

Are you sure it isn't a insomniac neighbor with a penchant for a midnight game of Bball?

Like I said, are neighbors are far apart. We live in a woody area, If someone was playing basketball at our neighbors house, I wouldnt hear it

How about kids playing tricks? Is it in front of your house? can you go look at the area where you hear the noise? Can you get to where you hear the noice but very quietly?

That is what Scooby would do after being bribed with a scooby snack. Do you have any scooby snacks for inspirational purposes?

It sounded like it was right outside my window, I could hear it perfectly. I am probably crazy or hearing things, but hey.. you never kno...I dont wanna take my chances with the chance of seeing a ghost thing..

i've had stuff like that like the proch light being on after i just turned it off. and all sorts of wierd crap.

I am probably just hearing things, everyone knows I am crazy.. oh well..

Could be an animal, a person playing tricks, maybe wind blowing something around.

Oh go for it...How often do you get a chance to see a ghost...a basketball playing ghost no less...

Take a camera with you. You could get rich if you get a good photo...

I have seen enough ghosts in my lifetime, I am not about to intentually try to see one! I dont like ghosts, they are creepy and mean for scareing everybody! WHY CANT THEY JUST LEAVE US ALONE? *sigh* oh well, they probably are amused with us screaming and pissing our pants like little pussys. I know I would be!

Come one, I have the Scooby doo chase music all cued up and ready to go. Just remember that when you start getting chased to go in and out of several different non-connected doors, and it would be helpful if at least once you could end up running directly into the ghost and then scrambling backward wildly...

I'd probably search for the ghost. Not with a camera, but just for the simple meaning of convincing myself there is life after death
