I recently went to the South island of New Zealand which is famous for its bush and views. We got some brilliant photos so I thought I'd share a few.

Yeah it would have been great to meet you in person but hey, it's a small country and I'll be down there in about a year and a half for Uni. Wow, that's a scary thought...

On the way back from visiting a place called Bullock Creek we got this photo -

The Moeraki Boulders, massive spherical boulders lying on a beach. -

This isn't so much beautiful as pretty darn cool. The dark shape near the digger is me and that hill is salt -

I don't think I'm doing much for our reputation of being overrun by sheep though... I would like to assure everyone that sheep, contrary to popular belief, do not roam the streets of cities

A friend of mine went to a soccer game in Auckland (NZ's largest city) lately to verse some Australians and one of the asked her team "So, where are all the sheep??" with a completely straight face...

Hey potholer, Really nice picutres but there was one that caught my attention, the Matheson Lake at dawn, those mountains are on fire!!

Fancy that, Mishari, arwenpotter said the same thing! It's the rising sun reflecting off the snow at the mountaintop. Pretty darned nifty aint it, heh.
