emmy
I don't remember Chocky but I remember Stig of The Dump, we read that at Junior School.
Bizarro
sometimes on PBS they show British TV. i have to be honest with you- i just don't get it at all. that island you are all one does something to your brains and makes you find the strangest things humorous. i sincerely doubt Chocky would have even made it to a pilot episode here... wait a minute, we had ALF for Christ's sake. that's gotta be some of the worst entertainment imaginable smile.gif
Druss
Its a long time since I read the books but I do remember liking the 'kraken wakes' and 'the trouble with lichen'

biggrin.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif ahh I think you hit the nail on the head there DS. Chocky wasn't exactly funny, but so badly made that it was....

What can be said not much but hey we're eccentric...... or mad

Druss I don't think I got round to reading those smile.gif
Alf
DSchwartz,
I have to disagree with you. I think ALF was a great show. I was a little kid when i first seen ALF. I learned alot of great stuff and got good advice. Advice that I still use today. It works!! biggrin.gif
Bizarro
no offense, Alf. i was just picking a sub-par show out of a hat. i could have just as easily said Busom Buddies or Love Boat wink.gif

if you use advice from Alf that is fabulous. i take it you don't own a cat? smile.gif
Alf
DSchwartz,
None taken. I just wanted to share my views on the subject of ALF. Yes, i do have cats, and no, i don't eat em. Though, i'm still eager to try some chocolate turkey. biggrin.gif
Phantom
