Nuclear bombs are actually an excellent global defence strategy, even though they do pose a terroist risk. MAD- mutually assured destruction. No country will attack another country that posesses nuclear weapons. In doing so they would be in effect destroying themselves.

i dont think he's referring to your rapture... i am pretty sure its more about what is truly in your heart. There are alot of people out their that claim to be religious and good but deep down there really not.

This is all interesting and all, and seems it could happen now or thousands of years from now for that matter. But what got my attention was the post about what will happen when we run out of fossel fuel. That would be a huge change, it could even be considered a catastrophic event, Both economaclly and our way of life. This seems more of a threat than "the world sopposidly ending".
