For me, it would be the Grudge. I must confess, I didn't go into the theatres expecting much from The Grudge, but when I saw it, I left after an hour. Everyone in the theatre was screaming and jumping out of their seats. The movie was predictable, repetitve and boring. The computer animation used in this movie was also very cartoony. After watching an hour of it, I was fed up, and I left. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, I advise you not to. It's a corny spin off of The Ring, and the Ring was a dumb movie as well. Save your $10 and go out to eat or something. Wait for The Grudge to come on TV, it's not even worth renting.
BurnSide
I saw a few TV spots and have to say i was outraged that they could even try and pass off this junk as horror. I mean, the graphics were so bad i think it would have been better if they threw Shrek in there somewhere to add abit of REALISM to it.

Anyway, worst horror ever is easily Halloween 1.
Deimos
Or any movie onthe Sci fi network. Especially the Killer Animal movies. Don't people get enough of this crap?

PHANTASM.

JASON X!!!!

How could Jason in space NOT be terrible?!
BurnSide
Dude Jason X was so good!!
Disinterested
It was so bad!!! I only liked it because of when he was beating up the girl with the sleeping bag, with the other girl in it. laugh.gif
BurnSide

Holloween 3, worst ever

I remember one of them had nothing to do with Michael Myers at all...it was horrible...That must have been 3...wow that was bad, when I saw it I thought I had walked into the wrong theatre...

Exorcist 2 was really bad, couldn't even follow that one...

Poltergeist2...3 how ever many they made of that one, everything past the first one was trash.

BWP2- the first blair witch was good...

Jaws2-13...Talk about milking a franchise dry.

Friday the 13th, all but the first one. The first one was bad too, but it started a trend, so I will give it credit there...When I was a kid I lived in Southern California, some distant relives of mine owned a ranch up in Valencia where movies were filmed; Friday the 13th was one of the movies that was filmed there. I got to spend the night at the ranch a couple of times in the little shack that jason was supposed to have lived in... A lot of the props were still just laying around from the filming, it was a neat experience. It was spooky...

There are just so many bad horror movies...

god ive heard that to many times..the grudge is NOT a spin off on the ring...

and the worst would be..some dumbass movie I saw on space last night..some computer..guy that killed people..with..electronics..i was laughing to much to really understand it.
Werewolf of Doom
I don't want to see the grudge. bleah. Once my sister and friends were watching "El Chupacabra" and kept pausing at random times. w00t.gif It was lol because we would mock them like this:

*person sees dead guy who was mauled by chupy*
Sir? *poke*
Are you alive? *poke*
Y'sure are fun to poke! *poke*
Mishari
lol, hmm Worst Horror Movie Ever would be Wrong Turn, Texas Massacare and Scream 3!
Shakezulah
what? wrong turn was excellent! it actualy kinda freaked me out at some parts. and thats rare. but the The Grudge was definaly one of the worst ive seen, but not nearly as bad as the Ring. i also hate all of the sci fi original movies. very cheesy. a lot of old horror movies suck too. i remember The Amityville Dollhouse. omg that was terrible! i didnt like Friday the 13th Part 2 either. theres just too many crappy horror movies out there.
JennRose
Has anyone seen the Howling..maybe 4...where the werewolves are in Australia? Oh God!! When the werewolf girl gives birth to the puppy/joey thing that cralws into her 'pouch'...ACK!!! It's one of the worst EVER! eyecrazy.gif
Shakezulah
o yeah i remember those movies. they sucked ass. another stupid, but kinda funny in the not-on-purpose way movie was Castle Freak. i remember this one part where the freak first escaped, he was in shackles, and he bit his thumb off to get ouy of them. laugh.gif i was laughing a lot at that part.
girty1600
Cabin Fever was horrable and the director wrote himself into the script, badly. Also, he can't act. tongue.gif Wrong Turn was indeed very very bad and the remake of Texas Chainsaw... same movie as wrong turn and they both made me want to hurl!
Shakezulah
i thought all of those movies were great. especially TCM. that was a little scary and pretty gory.
Dowdy
Exorcist 2. Shitest horror and overall film i have ever seen thumbdown.gif
Subtemperate
Do the scream movies actually classify as Horror?

Anyhow.... See "Cut"..... Molly Ringwald, Kylie Minogue... Rest my case

Last scary movie I saw was Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Don't know Jason or Freddy, but it does seem from the post I've read on this forum that these two don't play well with others.
mr_halo

well halloween 6 was on tv last night, and that was pretty awful ohmy.gif

Halloween H20 is the worst horror ever.
nobody even drowns in it!!
BurnSide
H20 stoof doe Halloween 20, not water. laugh.gif

Why did you post a tiny pic of the Silent Hill map?
Janiel
i liked the grudge, it was entertaining....not scary, but entertaining
the ring was good the first time i saw it, afterwords it was boring...

any or those random 'B' movies on SciFi are horrible, so those get my vote for worst horrors tongue.gif
BurnSide
It's definately a one-time jump movie.
Janiel
yup, but i liked the grudge enough to make a sig/avatar combo out of it tongue.gif
BurnSide
I'm not gonna see it. Looks to crap even for my tastes. tongue.gif
Janiel
laugh.gif
i think my siggy is better then the movie tongue.gif
BurnSide
You're probably right.
schadeaux
Hmmm.. Mine would be "Xthillian Nairobi" a very little known South African flick starring Idjit Shuuu. It's about a man who smokes, and has only a revolver for a friend. He is looking for a black mask with human eyes, yet he only finds one of the eyes.

Happy Halloween wink2.gif

Rob Zombie's House of 1000 corpses lame movie sorry I even wasted my time on it
Heartattackman
The Ring was utter crap. (the American version anyway). People said they couldn't sleep for weeks after watching that.... I don't know what all the fuss was about. I found it a bit of a yawn. The Japanese original was much better.

When I was a kid, I'd just finished reading "It" by Stephen King, and I decided to rent the video. It was my inevitable introduction to the sad and disappointing experience of comparing a book to a movie. The movie was also utter crap, to say the least. My imagination was heaps better.

I must say Dawn of the Dead (the newer version) was awesome! I haven't seen the original, but I loved the part where the black cop and Andy (the guy in the gun shop) were playing that game - the cop looked for a zombie that looked like a celebrity, and Andy had to find, it in the seething mass, and take it down with his sniper rifle. Cracked me up.
Canadian Rottweiler
what?????? blink.gif The ring was awesome.I didn't have any nightmares, but it was kinda freaky.Anyways, the dumbest "scary" movie would be dark harvest. It had no plot, characters looked like they were doing an add for crappy commercial.Seems like they spent $5 on the movie, and they made it in about 1 day. This movie is only 1 year old.The "special" effects were so bad that they were worse than the special effects on the first terminator. w00t.gif The movie was only 1 hour long.I would give dark harvest about -50 out of 10. laugh.gif

I hated that movie too! UIt's not that it's scary, but it's just unneccessary nasty carap that's over the top. people are so retarded for making crap like that
Shakezulah
you guys are insane. Jeepers Creepers was awesome. actualy its probably one of my favorite scary moves, if not my favorite completly. theres nothing wrong with it. but they REALLY could have done without the second one. it wasnt horrible, but it wasnt necessary for the story at all either.
