My dad experienced something as a boy and it has come up again recently, so I need to find out if there are other stories like his. Unfortunately the key words are too common for me to do a standard search.

I'm going to give a shell of a story and I want to hear from anyone who may have experienced the same thing. I will only tell some of it, so that I will know you saw the same thing if you tell me your full story... if that makes sense...

So, heres a few small details....

It was sometime between 1955-1960. Daddy was a young boy. The light was in his bedroom... It vanished as soon as his moms feet hit the wood floor in another room, so no one else saw it. It was the size of a laser or pin light, which obviously wasn't around then. He lived out in the boonies in Albemarle, Stanley County, NC. The light moved in a pattern that I don't want to describe. If you saw the same thing, please tell me about the pattern and color of the light.

There was a movie out in the 70's that had a scene exactly like what Daddy saw. He doesn't know the name of the movie, but it struck him because it meant that at least one other person out there saw it. If you know, or may know, what movie that is, please let me know. I'm looking for it.

There is a woman who lives a stones throw from where Daddy saw the light and she is seeing something in her room now. We haven't talked to her yet to find out exactly what she is seeing, but we believe there may be more people out there.

If you saw a light inside, especially in the 50's that you wouldn't call Ball Lightning, we need to know. Also, Daddy, the boy in the movie, and the woman are all the same generation. People between the ages of 50-65 right now are in that generation. Thank you very much.

I forgot something... There was a sound. I know how Daddy describes it, but I don't want to say. If you heard a sound with a light, tell me the sound.

I have seen I similar thing in this country it was a weird spinning thing with about 15 lights and it didn't move but made a srt of woooooooooooo noise.

Maybe it was ball lightening.

My mom once told me a story about her brother one time... he had a similar expirience. She told me that one night when her brother was sick my grandma went into his room and when she looked at him there was little lights i think about five floating above him... he was asleep but after about two miniutes the lights disipeared. Also my moms brother had been known to be friends with a little boy, which was thought to be a ghost by my grandmother... i dont think that the lights made any sounds though.
