To celebrate the release of Finding Neverland on Friday me and my mates are having a Johnny Depp day tomorrow - anyone have any ideas which films of his are ESSENTIAl for such an occasion - we have already decided on two - Edward Scissorhands and Pirates (naturally) but we have Blow, Chocolat, Lost in La Mancha, Ed Wood, Donnie Brasco, Platoon, Benny and Joon and What's Eating Gilbert Grape to choose from - and anythign else that we can rent!

Cry Baby - Get it for the cheese factor
Once Upon A Time In mexico - Its an instant cult classic. Just like Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2

Can't seem to get cry baby but watched once upon a time in mexico last week - what a cool film!

Fear and Loathing is really good, I find his character in it resembles Captain Jack Sparrow.

He was cool in Pirates of the Caribbean

He's not in Platoon much, and he's not a main character in Chocolat even though he's on the front cover!

I just got back from watching Finding Neverland at the cinema and OH MY GOD! It was so good! I think pretty much everyone in the cast deserves an oscar, though especially Johnny - I urge everyone, Depp fans and non Depp fans alike!

I won't be able to see it for another couple of weeks, it's not out until the 12th.

I saw the trailer and thought it looked really good, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it.

Finding Neverland was a great film, and Johnny Depp was as brilliant as ever, I think this guy is a superb actor and love the roles that he chooses because they are quirky roles. I think he was especially good in Pirates and Whats eating Gilbert Grape.
