Here's another photograph sent to me by e-mail, see what you think of it.
QUOTE
This was taken of my dog, at the barn where i keep my horses, around the time he was diagnosed with Kidney failure. He was not expected to live much longer. He lived about 2 years after this picture was taken. It almost looks as if the "thing" in the picture is holding onto his kidneys or about where they would be.
No other pictures that night have anything in them. There was no fog, no one was smoking, nothing. However we have many pictures with very strong orbs since then.

It almost looks like what I would picture an angel to look like. Bending over to give the dog a blessing.

michelles p.o.v. is cute, so what i'm saying is the mystery is in the eye of the beholder.

i have to say maybe it's the contact with an liquid during the exposiur, that would also explaine the other pictures taken after this one.

Such an interesting picture, I agree with Michelle, it seems to have some substance to the mist and it appears angel like to me as well. Like it's protecting the dog.

I also agree with Michelle.
I think it's the dogs spirit guide, hopefully relieving some of the pain. I can also see a spirit dog with the guide.

Nice picture. I'm suprised the dog isn't looking at the mist. Don't they usually pick up on "spirits."

Strange. I can sort of see an image in the mist, as if someone is bending over the animal!

I'm not saying categorically "This is NOT what it looks like", I'm just wondering if there was anyone smoking close by. Smoke can be invisible in human eye, especially in nighttime conditions, but it's very much visible when caught by camera flash

I'm not sure if it is. That is alot of smoke, and it's pretty thick, It must be something else.

I think it is smoking by the camera... I did it as a example outside my house. As you can see there is alot of smoke and its quite thick. When taking it inside it is thin and hard to see but the picture seems to be outside.

Alright then. Theres a really good chance that it's smoke. Thanks for in putting the extra effort!

Awesome pic!

There seems to be quite a bit od smoke or mist in the pic. When compared to the pic U.Nerd posted, I noticed that the dog pic had trendrils, many tendrils, of smoke, steam or mist while the other pic appears more "whafty". I must say that I don't see an image in the dog pic but, it did give me goosebumps. Great input, everyone.

How do you know he is lying? No-one but the person there can really know the answer.

so we have : smoke, liquid in the developping process, an animal protecting spirit and an angel. I have to stick with my liquid idea, but to be fair dog are usually able to feel things from the realm of the supernatural so it's odd it just stays there (maybe it's a good spirit, or the spirit of some it knew and dosen't feel threaten). It could also be smoke, that would mean some one lied! ( maybe no one noticed the smoke and the flash made the carbon particuls shine making it visible for the fraction of a second the flash lite it up)

To me, the smoke appears much closer to the camera lens than to the dog.

I think so too. Poor dog! He's so pretty! Got husky blood in him, yeah? But I can see a figure bending over him holding him.

I also think it is a guide thats leading the dog to a right path.

I could recreate the same thing photoshop in about ten minutes, and write a story to go along with it. I SWEAR I've seen the overlay mist-dog picture somewhere before.

I wonder whether it was a cool night, it looks like someone didn't hold their breath whilst taking pic hence what you can see is breath.

Tried my hardest but I'm not seeing an angel in there.

Did he, uh, metion seeing a "smokelike" mist though? In the shape of a dog? Who ever made this is very good at photoshop, if indeed it was faked. It would take me at least half an hour to reproduce something of this quality. Maybe even a bit longer.
