Mysteryman

I think that the pics are real. The first is so detailed and natural looking that it looks real. The second is also really cool,I think that these are authentic pics of the ogopogo.
Deimos
I don't know about the second first picture, it's way too clear and focused, and the Ogopogo seems a little "Stiff"
Canadian Rottweiler
In which pic again? huh.gif
Deimos
oops, I meant the 1st picture, the second is really blurry, and I don't know what it is. The first just seems to be too clear to me.
Canadian Rottweiler
I like it because you can see so much of it.It does make it suspicious, but I still think that it is cool. grin2.gif
mr_halo

well the first one looks a bit odd...

and the second one could be anything...

cool.gif

Canadian Rottweiler

mr_halo

The first one reminds me of a picture I saw of nessie that turned out to be a hoax made by covering haybailes in the water to look like humps.
TooFarGone

Method

disgust.gif How do you pronounciate that name?
Canadian Rottweiler
Okanagan.O-CA-NAW-GAN.
Ogopogo.O-GO-PO-GO
Method
Oknawgaw? I have heard of that lake. O-Go-Po-Go rofl.
Canadian Rottweiler
No,it is called okanagan.I live about 3 hours from that lake. grin2.gif
Method
And is this the Nessie of BC / Cananda?
TooFarGone
Yes. Except this is almosty as well known as nessie, unlike many lake monsters
Canadian Rottweiler
In North America(especially Canada)ogopogo is more well known of than nessie. Many more people have seen ogopogo(including me),and it has a history dated back many centuries. w00t.gif
TooFarGone
Back to the native indians. I would love to have a chance to go there
Canadian Rottweiler

I go every summer.I always get a fairly good look at him.Well enough to know that it is not a log or a bird. grin2.gif .I have been swimming in the lake. One time,it was really busy in the lake, and there was a large black thing completely submerged that came really close to some people. The it took off and left a STRONG current behind it.It was scary, yet kinda funny cause people were falling over. laugh.gif
Deimos
man, you're a lucky devil! I actually might be taking a trip to Canada is a few years, and I plan to go to Lake Okonogan in the summer. Hopefully my luck will be as good as yours!
Canadian Rottweiler
It is defenitely worth it.Many many people see him. Some people say that he is more commonly seen tham nessie. w00t.gif grin2.gif
Deimos
man, that's awesome. Maybe I'll look you up when I go!
mr_halo

cool.gif

Deimos
there's also a lot of Australians on here.
Cookie_007
the second one to me looks like a u.f.o in the sky. you can see it flying above the trees. I dont think its in a river at all. First one looks real, but it could be fake.

Thats what I said. They dont match or something huh?
Rakshasas
The first does look like a log..
Andy_R
I've been swimming in that lake, and I never saw any "monsters."

I am of the belief that this creature (as well as the lochness) does exist.
However, I believe that they are nothing more than really really big sturgeon.
Sturgeon can reach several hundred pounds, and rarely surface.

About 15 years ago, a dead sturgeon rolled up on shore on Lake Washington here in Seattle. It weighed over 900 pounds.
If you saw such a beast swimming around below the surface in murky lake waters, you'd probably think you saw a monster.
Repo Man
I have seen the OGOPOGO once on the way to my grandmas, and as a kid my mom had seen it several times as well seen it a few more times when my older brother was younger, driving to her house.

It rocks. I want to go diving with a spear and catch it! grin2.gif

I must compliment you Canadian, for your use of the forum. You are searching to find out, looking for facts and lies to the things you have always believed in an attempt to make sense out of things few take notice to you.
I am very glad you are on the forum.

Though, as for my opinion, they are both likely to be fake. The shape taken by the first is not, in my opinion, anatomically possible. And the second looks quite simular to an airplain.
Deimos
Draco you don't post a lot do you? I don't really see you. YOu just pop up at times
