The assignment was for a photo class. The teacher gave each student a bag. Each bag contained a different item. Of course I received a rubberband. In photography you have to take your ideas to the next level, when you look at an image you want an instant emotion recognition. I just took it to an extreme. If any one uses rubber the wrong way it's gonna hurt. Trust me.

McG~ Love your nature photog in particular...esp yosemite2! The colors seem surreal...

Yosemite2 was taken in late January 1998. The time was sunset, so 5:30ish. The sunset rays appeared just under the clouds. It gave the whole scene a nice warm feeling. The colors in the photo are a little exagerated but close to what the actual lighting was. One tip on shooting sunsets, if it's cloudy and you know the storm is ending get your camera out. The tail end of the sky will let the sunlight in, that's when the most dramatic sunsets are captured.
