It was Jedi regurgitated, minus the great storyline and coupled with as many amazing effects that could be crammed in as possible.
Not what made the original starwars moves so awesome sadly.

Yeah, but I hope that in this one Lucas really kicks ass and chew bubblegum and gives us a Star Wars movie the fans deserve!!!!!

Of course!
Kinda like how i still watch the Simpsons, even though they haven't come out with a remotely funny episode in over a year, i still watch them.
What's this one called again? Revenge of the Sith right?
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Can't wait to have them all in my collection one day, even if some of them do suck.

www.starwars.comI think Starwars 3 will be......cheesy.....
It ends so favorable to the Darkside and Siths that they ended the series(well...movie appearences) with the good guys losing....sucks to see that it ends how horrer movies end, the enemy wins and thats not what I wanted to see in this series......
What are your opinions?

well you dont know for sure how it will turn out. either way, it would make sense with the story, so you shouldnt be dissapointed. i would be expecting the darkside to win actualy.

i remember when the trailer for episode one came out. Hard-core fans were going to the movies, paying for the full price of a movie ticket and all they came there to watch was the trailer for episode one and then leave....
Thank god for cheap internet!

WEll the enemy has to win. Everyone knows he does. They defeat the jedi, all the jedi run off to hide. This isnt techinally the ending of the series anyway. Episode 6 is. And the good guys win

It looks good... I had no problem with Episodes 1 and 2, the point of them was building up to Episode 3, Lucas said before even starting to film Episode 1 that it wouldn't be very full of action, same with 2, he said when filming 1 that Episode 3 was the one to watch out for. You have to take 1 and 2 for what they are... You don't open up a book expecting to read the climax on page 1 of chapter 1, do you?

Ok, I know this film isn't out yet, but has anyone seen the newest FULL trailer for it yet? If you go to the Official Star Wars
Website, they have the lastest trailer. Man, does this look sweet! Even if you didn't like the last two (I actually did like them a lot), this looks way good. I love how Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine has a major role in this one!

It's amazing. I enjoyed all the movies of Star Wars Episodes. I love movies with depth perception and detail, to it's surroundings.
But what I don't understand is how the episodes work out. It starts off in the future than in the past...then goes towards the future.
BurnSide
Mar 14 2005, 06:28 PM
The first three, Blue, were actually episodes 4, 5 and 6.
At the time, the first three were deemed too boring to be put to the screen, so they made a movie of episode 4, and hit was a hit so 5 and 6 followed.
25 or so years later, they decided to make the first three episodes to complete the saga, since we've come a long way with technology and special effects, so they could be made entertaining.
So it is an actual story, starting in the past, and going to the future. You just have to look at the first three movies, as the last three movies.

Well, George Lucas decided to make Episodes IV-VI first, since technologically they could be made back then (the 1970's and early 80's). The story didn't call for the vast visual scope that the prequels do. So, once the technology caught up with his vision, he made the prequels (Episodes I - III). So now, you can watch them in numerical order if you want, although either way works fine.

If it makes someone money, I wouldn't be surprised if they make 7-9, a lot of the movies and video games are based on the aftermath of the war, its easy to see a movie doing so. Only problem is that original actors are to old for it to starting them.

i've heard amany rumours, and supposedly hes going to star production in 2014 and thats it's going to be a 10 year project. But thereis issues with this. I've seen the script
Has a lot of star wars stuffand it looks like they'll beok, but without the original actors, the older generation will feel left out. However will he live that long to actually do it?

Star Wars Episode 3, I think, will be the biggest hit this year... no doubt... just like Lord Of The Rings made loads of money last year, this one will be the money maker of 2005. I mean, its possible that it could be the last in the series, and everyone will want to see it, even the ones who were turned off by the last two. Mark my words, we will be seeing some incredible stuff in this next one.

Okay, first let me start by saying this:
STAR WARS is not "for the fans." It never has been and I'm sorry to bust the egos, never will be.
STAR WARS is for one man. George Lucas. The fact so many have hated "the last two" is simple: you EXPECTED something from it. Well, I bet many of you often find on Christmas morning, you'll be EXPECTING some serious crap, byt hadrly ever get what you actually wanted.
Well, the same deal for any epic, long franchise.
TV series, movies, books, comics, card game ,what EVER comes out, will "never be good enough." I know, I EXPECTED The Two Towers to be amazing, I was sadly dissapointed, I EXPECTED the final graphic novel of PREACHER to me awsome, I was again let down.
Here's the deal: just go and see it for what it is: the 3rd chapter of a 6 chapter epic.
I'm looking forward to seeing this, I've waited for well over a decade to see how Anakin falls to the Dark Side, and it will be nice as well, when the DVD comes out to have all 6.
The only thing I expect to get from this movie, is to have to make a bladder bursting pee after the credits roll.

I see what you are saying hun...and I'll do what I did for ep 1 & 2...go and watch it as a film in its own right...not part of the original...and maybe thats why I enjoyed the first 2.
We have to remember that after ep's 4,5 &6 time has passed and technology has changed...everyone that was expecting the new films to have the same effect as when they were younger have to realise that they are older, therefore look at the world in a totally different way...through the eyes of an adult.
Me...Im still a big kid at heart and am getting all excited over the 3rd film...Im really going to enjoy it...and I really hope you all do too.

just read the script on Supershadow.com it sums up the movie in 1 page. I just got my tickets a couple o days ago and it is AMASING to finally hold the tickets in my hand, I remeber 3 years ago saying "we'll have to wait 3 years,ah man!" and now I only have to wait a few days

this should be an eccelent film, and Ireally like the episodes 7,8,and 9 scripts so I hope that Lucas or his kids, or somebody decides to make them.
