Take this test on this link, it's like 12 questions. Answer them, tally up the points, and tell me what you are!!!

Do you agree? What's your take on everything from Bigfoot to the Big Bang Theory? Do you consider yourself mostly a believer, a non-believer, or always find yourself questioning EVERYTHING?

I find myself to be a questioner, shoot, my dad said when I learned the words What and Why at 2 years old, I never stopped asking (I agree) but I know that I will never know the answers, but I am on a continuous journey to what I feel is the BEST answer for me.

Of course this test isn't 100% accurate, but it's fun to get an idea of where you stand and go from there.

I'm a skeptic guy, i will always ask why, what, who and when...it's in my nature, my father was a journalis, my mom worked in radio and my grand-father was a sociology teacher so it's in me, in my genes and my post. But i always use the "***" to signal what could help prove something, an other perception or what can the science explane or disproove.

so most of the time I give the two side on one story...
***
I doubt everything untill i can find hard proof to explane it.

Test said middle of road and thats where I am.

Thankfully we have more middle-roaders so far, that's good, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't more "paranoid people" or "skeptics"...but as long as people can see both sides of the pot, it's reassuring to know people have open minds at least grin2.gif

I always think its best to keep an open mind Firefemme as one should look at things from all angles as Im sure you will agree.

Why do you need to make sure? What do you have against skeptics? Who are you working for!

11-15 points: You’re a skeptic, but you may find that hard to believe.

I'd rather be skeptic than to believe everything thats posted here on UM!

I have nothing against skeptics!! lol, as long as you have an open mind. I mean shoot, I don't believe 90 % of the things I see on here, but I have an open mind concerning ideas and stuff. original.gif

All Skeptics have open-minds. They need to, that's the whole point of being skeptic. We're open to all things aparnormal, we just need hard, real evidence before jumping to conclusions.
Most skeptics theorize things you couldn't imagine! But we just set out to prove these things rather than claim their existance out of the blue.

Skeptic but hey thats nothing new... grin2.gif

And that's what middle of the road people do, they consider the theory and then ask for the proof if they think the validity is provable. A true skeptic is harsher than this. Most skeptics are only out to disprove something before hearing the possibilities, they want facts first then theories.

Middle Roaders will take facts or theories first, and then follow up.

Paranoid people take theories first, and don't need facts.

So Burnside, if you like theories and facts...you might be a bit closer to the middle road instead of just hard skeptic. But if you need facts first and don't listen to theories without them, then yeah, you're a skeptic. It's not just these three, there are in betweens and stuff, and this test is just for fun anyways.

Maybe i am middle of the road.
I don't believe anything that hasn't been proven by science, but i am open to the possibility that science is slow sometimes. original.gif

Lol, maybe, but from what you tell me I'd say you're somewhere between full on skeptic and middle roader. I think that's where I am, even though the test said i was a middle roader...With all the false information out there, the truth is so rare that if you believed everything, you'd contradict yourself in everything you did and said because of all the theories that go against other theories, etc...but a full on skeptic would no allow a single theory to be considered without proof, which you do...so I would say between the two original.gif But I think in today's world it's the best place to be...gullible paranoid people would be the ones who have the guns hiding in holes waiting for robots to take over lol!! But unfortunately that's what our world has created. So many wrong answers that even when a proven one comes along, it's hard to believe, which I think is a real shame.

Middle of the road leaning towards skeptic....Huuummmmmm, never really thought of myself that way! laugh.gif

Oh, you're right, I'm sorry, I guess I forgot to put that in my original post.

Art Bell was a man who worked for the CIA but made claims about things like all the cover ups regarding aliens, and how he believed in Area 51 and he was a big advocate for UFO's and aliens and government conspiracies and such. Then he retired and very quickly, unretired lol.

Hope that sheds a little light.
