Ok, i dont know if this is real or not but it's pretty weird.... blink.gif
girty1600
Wow, that is just nasty scared.gif
Poor kitty, it looks like a set of twins that never fully developed in the womb. That is, when the zygote split to make identical twins, separation did not fully take place. This is a birth defect that happens in all walks of life. Its a shame, I hope they put the little kitty out of its misery.
Fluffybunny
The arachnid-kitty. I would hate to have to trim his nails...

Is the little guy alive? crying.gif I have seen the human deformities that have a second set of legs and such, I would imagine it is along the same lines...
Curiosity
I hope it's a photoshop image because if it isn't then that's just sad. Poor kitty... crying.gif
Janiel
It kinda looks like theres two cats, but it looks more like a photoshop image
Diebytheflyguy
Thats messed up. Is that two cats conjoined, or one deformed cat?
Mel
That is so sad.

I have a cousin who was born with 6 fingers on each hand, 6 toes on each foot, two sets of adult teeth and 2 spines. She had many surgeries in her life and is perfectly fine and very pretty. Doctor's blamed it on the early birth control pills.
kikuchiyo
It could be a unicephal cat.
***
3: possible
4: normal
5: odd mutiation
6: getting weird
7: lucky number
8: Siamese cat?
Tenebra
Poor baby also has two tails... and the two pairs of hind feet point in different directions.

I'd agree with girty1600, it was a pair of twins that didn't separate properly.

And I very much hope that immediately after this picture was taken, this poor kitten went painlessly to kitty heaven. crying.gif

I know birth defects happen in nature, even without human help... can't help but wonder where this kitten was, though, or how close his mom was to human contaminants of any of a million kinds.
DJ_5150
It looks like siamese cat. That sounds so wierd but there have been weirder things
lego jedi
*strokes his cat and tells her not too worry...i will convince myself this is photo shopped ... mellow.gif
BurnSide
I think i see two tails there too.

There are 3 explainations to this:

1. Twins that formed together in the womb. I imagine an x-ray would suggest the second cats skull is inbedded in the body somewhere. I can't imagine that cat, if it is alive in the picture, would be alive much longer. sad.gif

2. Photoshopped arachna-kitty.

3. The kitty was part of an experiment with Teleportation and was placed in a cylinder to be teleported to the second clynder. HOWEVER, there was also a spider in that cylinder and the cats DNA fused with the DNA of the Spider. Brundle-Spider.
Kryso
Poor kitty. I would like to see a dog try and catch that one, when it’s older! huh.gif

I wish I could.... *want to run home from work and cuddle my cats right now*
brittish_gurl
lol, that was funny. It looks pretty real, but very weird. Stuff like that happens all the time, I'm not too surprised at all. Who knows, I want a cat like that lol, that would be pretty interesting. Maybe it could walk on its head..... lol, that's cool. cat.gif
Deimos
ugh, that's pretty gross. Looks like a spider.
Panthera leo atrox
It's definitely real. thumbsup.gif It was a pair of conjoined cats. It was pretty big news for a while. They died soon after birth, as they usually do.

I totally think it's real. I have seen a picture like that before but a horse, only with 5 legs.
Great Big Sea
That's nasty I'm sorry. crying.gif
Mad Manfred
I knew Spider-Man and the Black Cat were doing the nasty! tongue.gif

Fake. Doesn't even look photoshopped, looks just plain silly. The guy is holding the extra bits on with his hands.

I was taught in school that all humans are supposed to have 6 fingers on each hand, and that for some reason that gene gets recessed every time.....
Panthera leo atrox
It's real. Just a deformity. thumbsup.gif

Wow. 2 spines!! I'm glad that she's ok and living a "normal" life.
Dog Demon
I'm pretty sure it's a fake, I mean, look at the way it's holding its paws on the guy's hand. It'd have to be able to move them like normal arms to do that, and I highly doubt it could develop that well. But still, poor kitty.
mr_halo

it could be a cat that started off as 2 cats in the womb or something...

Did you not read this link! Its not fake! Its a conjoined cat, but you don't see the others head. So in the womb, as Halo said, they joined together, and they formed this 8 legged cat.

Canadian Rottweiler
What a poor cat.I hope that they put it to sleep. It is too sad to let it live crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif
Panthera leo atrox
Conjoined cats almost never live long. They're usually stillborn or die soon after birth, as was the case with this one.
mr_halo

i wonder why they don't live long?

some conjoined human twins live long lives....

cool.gif

BurnSide
Some of them do too. Wasn't there a two-faced cat that lived for a few years?

Anyway they die because of complications the joining creates with the system of the body. Blood can't flow properly, food can't be digested properly, etc etc. But in some instances it works out.

I think this can happen w00t.gif my kitten had 8 fingers on each paw was weird made him walk funny thumbsup.gif he got run over though sad.gif

VampChilde18
Its most likely a photoshop image, notice how all the extra limbs come from BEHIND the cat, where you can see them connecting, so simple even i could do it, if i had photoshop, anywhay, i deem this one fake. (Although i have heard of these type of things existing, so im not saying it can't happen, i just dont think this picture is real.

thats the problem you can never tell if this photo is real or not, i mean its very possible that a kitten was born like this, but that doesn't mean this is a genuine photo of this occurence....

cool.gif

Panthera leo atrox
Dunno what's the big deal, I've seen many such deformities. Most (especially the ones that make the news) are genuine. You should see the calf! In addition to my earlierscource, there are others.
Mrs.Kahalioumi
Wow... Poor kitty... I wonder if there have been andy congoined animals that actuall lived?
dantheman2435
Even if it has 8 legs? can all of them function? i think it would be pretty hard for that creature to walk.
Panthera leo atrox
Several conjoined livestock, reptiles, and humans have survived. They're the main ones you see. High death rate though.

That's exactly why it's a good thing to read all of the posts first. This has already been proven 2 times. rolleyes.gif
