Most of these have been addressed on HBO. I'll just take it apart here.

HALO 2 is awsome. Halo CE was awsome but here are the problems in H2.
1. the health. you would think not having health would not be a big deal and having infinite shields that recharge would be better its not. You really only feel it in multiplayer when the dude your blasting hides then recharges his shields then you gotta do it again.
The new health system is amazing. No longer do you chase someone down, barely survive the fight with one red bar left, and then have some person throw a grenade and wipe you out, when you could only take down half their health. The new system puts everyone on a level playing field. Besides, if you both run away, you both come back with the same amount of health. The only thing to worry about now is ammo. ;)

2. the radar is useless and inaccurate when someone is on your screen. "the radar says hes behind me but behold hes in front of me.
The motion tracker is SEVERELY cut down. It came down from around 15 meters to what seems like three. It's highly accurate, though, and I've never heard anyone say that it malfunctions. You have to remember that it's three-dimensional: It will also show people above and below you.

3. the tank is too good. it was perfectly balanced before. now in multiplayer you can rack up so many kill with it...its not funny. in HALO Ce the tank was easily taken out.
That's bull. The tank is so amazingly slow because Bungie decided to cover the driver. It really didn't need much changes. All you have to do with someone in a tank is to sneak up behind them and board it. Smack the crap out of it and toss a grenade in.

4. The stunning. the ghost no longer stuns and if the plasma pistol and rifle still do i dont notice it.
I believe it does stun, it's just really subtle now. The Plasma Rifle fires so quickly you wouldn't notice it if you were firing it. They die when you hit them a lot, too. ;)

5. Sniper, rocket launcher nerds still dominate the game if not dealt with. Some of the weapons need rebalancing and the Assault rifle needs back in. Pistol is better balanced now.
Once again, that's completely untrue. The Rocket Launcher doesn't have that much ammo anymore, and it still moves a bit slowly. If they have a Rocket Launcher and you have a single SMG, you're pretty much screwed.
The Assault Rifle has now changed to the SMG, and that's a positive thing. The AR was so unrealistic that it never had a real purpose. I'm glad to see it gone.
All of the weapons are perfectly balanced.

6. the new maps almost all suck to much time was spent on making them XBL but they forgot to make good maps for us who dont have many friends to play with.
the remakes of blood gulch and battle creek rock.
You don't have that many friends? Play on XBL, build a nice list of people. Matchmaking builds a party with random people, just find ones that you like and send them invites. Before you know it your list will be full.
Midship and Ivory Tower are very small, but if you don't appreciate them there's not much you can do. Ascension is also very nicely sized.
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
Alot of the other complaints i have are small. like no bots in multiplayer to practice with.
Like Frankie had said, there are only two levels of bots. Those that are as dumb as rocks, and those that seem to kick your ass just by sneezing on you. I'm glad they didn't try that.

and ive beat heroic on co-op after i beat it on normal by myself and i didnt get credit for it while my brother did.
It updates the profile on whoever played for Player One.

Legendary sucks. if one of you dies then they start you both over. do you know how much harder that makes the game.
Legendary is going to kick your ass whatever you do. Either get better or learn to function as a team. Preferably both.
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
sure those of use who could beat legendary on HAlo CE in like a few hours needed the challenge but sheesh it didnt need to be that much harder.
They said they needed a challenge. They got it. If you have such a problem with it, try Heroic until you get much better.
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
heck my borther beat the first halo on legendary first in two days. he cant even get past the first level on legendary on this one.
Gotta think on your feet. Learn to adapt and dominate. They're not AI for nothing, you know. ;)
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
I reccomend playing it on normal by yourself then playing co-op on other modes. i found it a little more fun that way.
I played through normal by myself, just to have the whole screen. Co-op is a blast, though.
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
oh and for a spoiler the last boss is dumb i suggest we petition bungie to never put a stupid giant monkey boss with a hammer in halo again. heck how about no boss fights at all they dont belong in FPS...well that my opinion anyway.
I don't know who decided on doing bosses, but I agree. Bosses and Halo just don't work together. :(
QUOTE(Arashi Ravenblade @ Nov 18 2004, 06:11 PM)
Despite the complaints it's a good story. though sometimes the balancing seems a little off and you seem to be under powered and under gunned alot. Its over all still a 10 out of 10 despite the flaws. NOt everything that was promised but still able to satisfy until 3 comes out.

Underpower and undergunned? Hardly. Just adapt and survive. ;)
I have no complaints about the weapons. They're all perfectly balanced.
