Some people told me that halo 2 was a disappointment. I hope not! i still want to play it.

a lot of things are super sweet, but some things did dissapoint me.
good thing - flying insect alien things
bad thing - the warthog sounds like a go-kart engine...

all in all though, it is halo 2... so of course it is sweet

i suggest you kill yourself before the other members on here do it for you ! but seriosuly, the game did not suck in the least. it was fantastic and theres nothing wrong with it at all. you think all good games suck

The ONLY crappy part is that it is too short.I finished it last night.It took about 12 hours to beat I wish that it was longer.Other than that,it was amazing.

12 hours is pretty long for any FPS really when you think about it. but usualy theyre so fun that they go by extremely fast, and i can see how this game could have.

I wasent dissapopointed till the very end. The end was rubbish. 9/10 though.

Well, 12 hours is pretty good. Me and my cousin beat the first one (the first time we played it) in like four hours...

I am talking about the campaign.I finished 1 quarter by myself,then the other 3 quarters with a friend.I guess 12 hours is pretty good,but we had to wait like 2 years for this,and I wish that it was longer.But the multiplayer(against eachother) is awesome.That won't get old.
In one of the recent Xbox magazines,it said that e3 will release Halo 3 at the same time of Xbox 2 next summer. Is supposed to be a package.Halo 3 is supposed to be EVEN better.The graphics will be so good that the first Xbox won't be able to handle it. That is why it will probably be a package with Xbox 2.

BTW,e3 just released the fact that Bungie(maker of Halo)is partly done Halo 3. and that Microsoft is ready to release Xbox 2 in the summer of 2005

why are they bringing xbox 2 out after only a couple of years after xbox 1. thats dumb. besides, its gonna be almost the exact same thing as the regular one. its pointless to make it.

Hmmm, xbox 2,halo 2, and halo 3 in a package next year? I was thinking of buying an xbox when halo 2 came out, but maybe I could wait another year...

Xbox 2 will probably be a chip that you get installed into Xbox 1.They haven't said for sure yet though.Having this chip will double the graphics power. The game console industries(microsoft,Sony)say that within 5 years,gaming will no longer be animated.It will be actual things.Like real people and real environments in the game.Or if not,then the graphics will be so good that you can't tell the difference.

My friend bought Halo 2 on the weekend and finished it on normal mode in one day, he said it was far too short and not as good as he had expected, but he loves the multiplayer part!

It was too short,but is still the best game,and the multiplayer is awesome too.

I'd like to see a link that talks about Halo 3, since Bungie themselves hasn't said anything about it.

I wouldn't be surprised, though. With the amount of momentum following the Halo community, there is no way Bungie nor Microsoft would let it stop at a sequel.

To those that said that the ending was dissappointing. What did you expect? Did you really think that it was going to end differently than the way it did? I guess I hoped that they would, but only for a second. Then I realized just how much story Bungie has for their world, and how much they still have to tell.

Halo 2 was the best game ever except for the fact that it was too short and the flying insects were as annoying as hell but my fav weapon is the sentinel beam.

I know what you mean mr halo. I'm stuck on the first level (I just got it a few hours ago) with the "you know whats". They are so annoying. Is it just me, or is this game really hard right from the start for everyone else, too?

It is quite hard at the start.I like the elite though.You can be invisible whenever you want,and you have more buddies.

I found the controls a very drastic change from the first game.

Or maybe that's because I hadn't played a few weeks before that...

At any rate, I found my sensitivity at 3 when I first started playing. Now it's at 8 :D

Only a few dozen more games before I might push it up again...

Too bad the vertical sensitivity is really dulled down now. :(

The more that I'm playing it, the worse it looks. The music is horrible compared to the first. The way the vehicles handle is just annoying, they don't flip as easy, and they just don't have the same type of driving. The scorpion tank's slower... I don't know if I like it as much anymore...

The music is amazing. Probably the best part of the whole thing. I just don't appreciate how Marty allowed bands like Incubus and Breaking Benjamin to have their music placed into it.

The vehicle and driving engine is AMAZING. Boarding is also something that is amazingly cool. Although boosting with nearly all the covenant vehicles is kinda pointless, especially with the Wraith... I still haven't figured out what the point of the Banshee is.

As for the tank, I agree with you. They had to make it slower to compensate for its power in Multiplayer, while they didn't have to make it more powerful at all. It was fine to begin with.

The ending didn't live up to my amazingly high expectations that I have built up for over three years, and I don't know why they decided to go with that. They had enough time to either finish out a clear ending or just kill off a main character. Either way would've made me happy. The Warthog run in the first game? Perfect.

Anyways,Hawk,I agree with your most recent statement about the game.Remember the end of the second LOTR?It is like that.Just leaves you hanging there waiting for the third.They can't do anything major in part 2 of a long series.Halo 3 will be out next summer...

i definantly think the last level should of had you playing as master chief...

Would have made more sense to do that.The ending was just kinda sprung on ya.No warning,or final boss,or vital part of the game.Just regular fighting,then,the end Should have been twice as long.More like a RPG.

The last level DOES have a boss. That guy you have to kill, isthe main bad guy in the game..... he is harder to kill then others....... He is basically a game boss. They say just as much on the dvd......

But saying that.... I hate the idea of bosses in this sort of game....
