I've noticed that some people put down what they edited after they edit their post. Why do they do this? Is it required?

It automatically does that when you edit something

No it doesn't. It automatically says that you have edited at a certain time.

I post when i edit something because it could lead to confusion if someone replies to my post before i edit it, and then i go back and edit it, understand?
Curiosity
Oh, I understand now. Thanks for pointing that out. original.gif

No worries.
Besides that, i just find it polite just to point out what you have edited in your posts, for future readers of the post.
