Over the last few weeks if anyone has been watching the news there have been reports of hobbit like creatures they have found in Africa not 100 years ago. The really big elephant of Lord Of The Rings, the third one, They found that one type of creature, But they just thought it to be prehistoric. Well they were wrong, Perhaps a missending, perhaps a misunderstanding. Up until 300 years ago in every part of the world, there have been recordings of dragons before they could travel the seas there have been many recordings but the government dosent tell you that for the reasons I cannot say in this point in time,but if you don’t believe me, see for yourself, do a bit of researching on the net. Every empire, every city has recordings of dragons, hobbits. The last of the big elephants were used by the romans, if you search, you will see. Gotta go peace.

They have found skeletons of a closely related speacies to humans, that scientists are calling the Hobbits because there about teh size of a Hobbit in LOTRs, it was on all the major news sites last month. But im not sure about the elephant thing.

First of all, these "Hobbits" were found in Indonesia...miles and miles away from Africa. Do you know why you haven't heard anything new on these "Hobbits"? Because it's been proven false. The skeleton these INEXPERIENCED STUDENTS uncovered was just a retarded and deformed female of a normal human tribe. They jumped the gun basically.

Secondly, the elephants you're talking about became extinct around 100,000 years ago. They had no contact with modern man.

If you really are trying to imply that this has something to do with the LATER i will seriously keep you in my thoughts. It is a little thing called evolution. The oldest found human bone were found in africa so obviously there is going to be human evolution there. And the 600 ft elephants, elephants are there now! Plus what proof is there that there were in the same time period. anyway sorry to be so aggressive !

It's also quite possible that in ancient times they were smoking weed as we are today.

Yeah,I heard about the hobbit thing to,not shure if it is true....but not the elifants(sorry,spelling ).
They did a thing in Scientific American magazine on if humams were to live for sevril hondred years what they would have to look like and eat like and stuff...and they were just like hobbits!but as for what your saying,sorry,I don't know.

Just because the latest reports come from Indonesia, doesn't mean Africa has no little people too. Run a search for the Agogwe. nice stories about that one.

I'm not saying that anyones views or theories are false. I'm just saying that Africa has tails about little people, I'm not saying the recent reports didn't come from Indonesia. Furthermore I'm expressing a view on why people in earlier days might describe elephants as really large.

I don't think they have existed. 300ft elephants. But I'm not an expert in paleontology.
I think that's much to big. But I do have a theory on dragons. Just read another thread. Here's my view

As being a collector I know that fossils need really good circumstances to form. And there are more dino bones found than mammal bones (this I was told by a paleontologist from the Netherlands). So not everything leaves it's bones lying around. But just like you I think at least be found some bones should have been found by now. but we can't entirely rule out the possibility that they existed.
