What the!? Fortwayne, IN is about an hour from where I live. I'll have to find some more local news here for more details.
It's kinda hard to tell. Because of the angle, it could be something coming back into earth and burning up through the atmosphere.

It is very strange that the news crew say it was something other than it actually is, don't you? Are they covering something up. I mean is does look like it is very close to landing somewhere. I would most definately follow it also.

Yeah you must be just excited. Having something so out of the ordinary happening so close such as this I would be researching it all myself.
Wow the video was very clear but i dont think it is a U.F.O mybe Space junk?? 
Interesting. They never seem to show the end, if you know what I'm saying. No one ever records that quick...what else was going on?
If it went in any other direction, besides down and at an angle, I would say it was a UFO.

Technically it's a ufo due to the fact that we can't identify it. ( In that case a trash bag going in a up drift could be classified as a UFO)

Well I thought that was it, but you never know they covered up the Roswell UFO crash, maybe they are covering this one up.
Or then again, it might just be Santa, just starting earlier this year..

Pretty Wicked UFO. Might have just been the military testing some new plane or something. Cause it looked pretty big for air traffic control not to pick it up on radar... Seriously those computers can almost pick up a freakin kite on radar these days.
Any reason why you believe its a UFO (alien craft)? Again, there are no odd movements, and no specific details that would link it to being alien craft.
Its no UFO. My take on it is a white object photgraphed over water (in background) and attached to something in the top left corner of the video by an undetected string. Smells of a little HOAX.
