Are you being serious? Drop Bears sound like a crock to me, but I don't live out there. BTW, welcome to the forums Kaliada!
kaliada
Hi Monster Hunter X....hehe no, not serious. Just having a play. Drop bears are just a figment of the imagination...used to scare wayward children (like myself when I was little) who used to wander off into the bush alone and comes in very handy when you want to give foreign bush walkers a bit of a fright. hehe wink2.gif
All just aussie legend I'm afraid original.gif

And thanks for the welcome by the way...am loving this board wub.gif
mr_halo

so drop bears aren't real then?

no reported sighting or anything?

cool.gif

slugnugget
No, drop bears and hoop snakes are just a joke, Kaliada is being fair dinkum they are just stories we tell to tourists (mainly Germans) for a bit of fun, hope we didn't mislead to many of you good folk.
kaliada
No sightings or the like that I know of. Just a good ol' yarn that we like to spin to tourists so we can have a chuckle down at the pub hehe wink2.gif
Bit like how all Australians ride kangaroos around laugh.gif

Thanks Kaliada! I don't trust them aussie blokes no more. Now I'll stop drinking Foster's Beer. That'll sink their economy.
