This is a new invention by National Geographic.It is a major scientific discovery that will help scientists discover the way of life of animals,and even more importantly,sea life.These are mostly used on Sharks,whales,and Leatherback turtles. grin2.gif

I think the cams are a cool way of seeing the critters and it's surroundings. (maybe find sunken continents or lost items).

Yup.Many new things will be known about the way of life of sea creatures.For example,Where sharks breed,and where they migrate to.By finding this stuff out,more marine biologists and other protectors of the sea can watch that place specifically so they can stop poachers,and learn more about the magnificent creatures of the sea. grin2.gif

I thought I saw a show on discovery channel a long time ago about crittercam, something like a couple of years back. They put a crittercam on a sperm whale hoping to catch a glimpse of giant squid which live at great depths in the seas.

I think the crittercam is pretty neat. Now that we can have a closer look, I think we'll be learning a lot more about marine life.

They tried to make a crittercam,and put it on a whale.But it wasn't successful.This one is,and will soon become a daily show grin2.gif
