I was curious about the mysteries that have been answered. Which ones have been answered, without a question of a doubt?

None what-so-ever....

Have you ever watched the unex TV show? They show you all this information, but they still don't tell you if anything has benn solved until the end. You wait through all the commercials, it's on again, they go over everything in a nutshell, and finally when you think they'll tell you they say something like, ".... and that's why it still remains... an Unexplained Mystery." (cue the theme music)

if some of the UNexplained mysteries had been explained, they would then become just explained NON-mysteries. So no. no unexplained mysteries have been explained so that the general public accept the explaination.

I'm not being a smart-ass here but the Panda for a LONG time was thought to be figment of peoples imaginations like 'Big Foot'(except for the ancient chinese which I b elieved worshipped it and it was only really known to the chinese nobles) then they were sort of lost to history and thought of as being a myth, that is until they actually CAUGHT one (I think in the 1800's?)and now they are in zoo's for anybody to see......so I would count that as one 'UM' explained..... wink2.gif

On a related subjhect of bear-like creatures, the sloth-bear of India was thought to have been related to the sloth family, turns out it is not. Saw it in the new National Geographic.

We now know that what people thought were UFO's flying in the Nevda desert turned out to be the F-117 and other military craft. We also know the government helped induce and fabricate such UFO myths to mislead the public.

The Bermuda triangle has been proven a myth. A very die-hard myth, but still a myth.

Most of the thing is based upon a book that was written in the beginning of the 1900s, if I remember correctly. Most of the facts in the book are false, like ships sinking, planes missing etc.
