I've been wanting to continue this idea. I myself can make up words instantly and make phrases that I do not know the meanings of, yet, being random, words repeat sometimes with different endings and sounds. To help me understand this, it would be nice if you would tell me if you can do this as well, and post an example even if you can't. Just make up some random jibberish and post it, It will REALLY help. I've also heard of dreams being tied in with this, and strange Anglo-Saxon rune resembling symbols being flashed. This may sound silly, but any words you post will help.

When I've done this with friends, I've seen striking similarities, as if we were talking, yet we can't really understand, yet at the same time we do. Maybe something subconcious?

That's latin. Corpus Cristi means "body of Christ". The rest of it I'm not sure, but "ego sum salveme" (not sure...) should mean something like "save me".

Anyways, as far as those languages concern, there are probably more than one theory. One is that all children (before they learn to speak) speaks the same language. I believe this has been proved somewhere, think I read it somewhere. That means that the "language" you are talking is a remain of that time. Which would also explain why your friend and you sometimes seem to say the same words.

Another theory, if you believe in reincarnation, is that the language is what you spoke before. Maybe your friend and you lived in the same place at the same time once?

I'm personally for the first one. No need to complicate things original.gif

Is this weird or what? thumbsup.gif

Remember when in the bible the tower of Babel was being built? Before it was finished, God forced people to other continents to speak different languages so they wouldn't become so powerful anymore. Maybe its got something to do with that?

Equally potent answer is that you're just talking gibberish as it sounds! w00t.gif
Zaus
You have to believe in the Bible before you can make that assumption. I would say it's just coincidence, especially if you and your friends are trying to think of the most random words. Random events serragate non randomly.

I can't thank you guys enough for your two-cents. Keep posting! I think I'll submit a bit of my own jibberish now.

Not quite getting the results I hoped for -- getting better! I see quite a few similarities, but then I see differneces, such as in the one I quoted, X is frequently used, yet it seems to be almost never used in others. cat.gif

Keep jibber-jabbin or whatever you like to call it.

Perhaps it has to do with the human mind? I mean things are bound to be common. When people are asked to pick a number between 1-5 or 1-10... I forget... There is a certain number that is nearly always picked more than the others. Maybe certain words or sounds are easier or more common when talking in gibberish?

I think you can sometimes do this because of just the way a word you guys make up sounds or looks. Like when you take the SAT's and for the vocab if it is a negative word, then I just looked for a word that sounded negative. Like the word "diablerie", try to think of what it could mean. Then scroll down.

diablerie is a synonym of the noun evil, it means black magic, a representation in words or pictures of black magic or of dealings with the devil, or mischievous conduct or manner. Probably just noticing diablo and erie will give it away, but just the pronounciation of the word has a negative feel to it.

Well, let's see . . .

"Te" is Latin for "you". (In the accusative I believe, but I could be wrong. Latin was a LOOONG time ago! wink2.gif)

"Mantre" makes me think of "mantra".

"De" is French for "of" as in "d'Artagnon".

"Travia" makes me think of La Traviata.

"Shabala" sounds kind of like "Shambala".

"Kira", of course, is a DS9 character. <G>

I *believe* "maat" is "dead" in Fahrsi. (I know "checkmate" comes from "Shah maat" or "the king is dead" in Persian, but I'm not sure what language that is exactly.)

"Amun" could be the Egyptian god, as in "Tutankhamun". Also, another word you've got is "tut".

"Helio" is Greek for "sun" and "tora" is Spanish for "bull".

Also, "se" is French again for "oneself"(?) as in Je me se-souviens. (PLEASE forgive my spelling, grammar, etc. French was even longer ago than Latin! wacko.gif ) which means literally "I remind myself" but translates as "I remember".

And "veil", of course, is English for "veil". <G>

FWIW.

Thankyou Loretta
There are more words which I chant and dont know the meaning of and it would really help me to find out.
The Egyptian words could be coming from a pastlife in ancient egypt thats why i stated in my post that hadeka is helping me as he is from egypt. The Latin could explain another pastlife I had from centuries ago but i do remember this past life too.
The greek maybe possibly coming from what i believe in.
But what is a DS9 character???
The spanish and French??? I have no idea!!!
Oh hang on a minuite.....
I did have a spiritual connection with a french girl once. She was 22 and died in 1864. She died of a horrible death.

What is Farshi???
What is Shambala???
What is the meaning of la triviata???

If you could help me out too , it would be very much appreciated.

Thankyou.

Blessed Be.

Weird Huh???

Please excuse the spelling of these words for i am just spelling them as they sound......

Nightshade,

if you wish to try to translate these. One a interpertor would be a good idea but it would be hard to find someone who speaks all kinds of different language....

Or you can try to translate what you can yourself using online translator and dictionnary. Tedious work and maybe long, but free.... If any words remains, either you miss them or they are of ancient language.

in your last post

''tamuun druu bruuska larmai tu muula svolan eenota svuuk tu.
eenota svuuk tu taas te shuun meit telavuu pabja si chuu.....''

''tu'' could be french. Its english translation ''you''
''si'' could be french. In english meaning ''if'' or spanish in english meaning ''yes''

the other no idea....

Good luck thumbsup.gif

Hi! Sorry for the ambiguity. DS9 is a common abbreviation for the TV show, Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Kira was the name of one of the characters. It is a real name, though. Middle Eastern, I believe, though I'm not certain exactly what part of the Middle East it's from. It might even be Greek.

Fahrsi (pronounced "far see") is a Middle Eastern language spoken in, among other places, Iran.

I'm also not entirely certain about Shambala. I believe it is a sort of perfect state, like Nirvana, but I don't know what discipline this is from. I only know it from the song "Road to Shambala" by Three Dog Night (old American rock band). I believe it's also the name of a private big cat reserve owned by some movie star or other.

La Traviata is an opera. Spanish if I'm not mistaken. I've not seen it, so I can't tell you anything else. :-/

Speaking of arcane languages, when I was getting ready to reply to this message one of my kittens jumped on the keyboard and typed this:

uy7

I think it's Feline for "GIVE me your burrito!" wink2.gif
