Yeah, no one is sure what Globsters are. there are several hundred different types of them from all over the world. BTW, it probably washed back out

It looks like a bunch of junk that was collected/or already in this mass, and washed up on shore...

I've never seen this photo before.
It's a pity they didn't get a sample of it.

^ well, usually when they do actually take samples, they get lost or come back inconclusive and are tossed aside.

Many of the cryptozoologists at Cryptozoology.com have suggested whale blubber.

It just looked more solid.
I was thinking whale blubber but that was a different pic.

To me, it looks more like a pile of some kind of salt or rubbish than a carcass.

I reckon it looks like so old rubbish or some old clothes which have been tumped there and then rotted.
It looks really weird watever it is

I thought some scientists decided it was whale blubber. Whale fat disintegrates very quickly, turning into a jellified blob! But then again, who knows?

Ever wonder where sharks and whales go to the bathroom?
It's real crap from a whale or a large shark.

No, but I am a member. Since the picture came from there, I thought it would be good to say what they thought it was. There are many smart people there, and they do a good job at debunking the fake pics.

What do you expect from something floating in the ocean for who knows how long?
The salt must have turned it white. Plankton could have broken it up to make look soft. So many thing that could have happen to 'it.

A theory I heard on the Globster was that is was washed up whale blubber from a whale that was torn apart or bitten by sea predators.
*shrugs* Who knows.
