I can't believe people would think about buying tht crap! What a waste of money! If you are gonna throw money away at least donate it to something or somebody who needs it.

OH MY GOSH are you NUTS?! People can't do stuff like that (donate money to a worthy cause) it would be like - wrong or something(being sarcastic)! All I have to say is - I wouldn't be spending my money on crap like that but I tell ya I got a load of wheat pennies just looking for the right dumbass to come along!

well, I collect coin and notes as a hobby. I have some pretty expensive ones too. I collect the modern coins. Those old pennies look, well old tongue.gif . But if i have the money. I wouldn't mind buying the 1930 penny. One of the most expensive pennies in the world.

It's a good investment. In 1970 the 1930 penny was only worth $500! And those prices you saw on that website are actually considered out of date (even though it's only 2002 price)

The current price goes like this

VG - 18k
F - 27k
VF - 42k
EF - 95k
aUNC - 140k
Unc - 200k
Choice Unc - 275k
Gem - 350k
Proof - 425k

Prices are from "Australian coins and Banknotes. Eleventh Edition. By Greg McDonald"

They are more than crap ugly coins. They are investments thumbsup.gif

There are stamps out there that are worth millions...

My dad collects stamps and once sold a set (one page) for around $7,000.00.

I'm also a collector and seller of books and comics and I know from experience that everything is worth only what you're willing to pay for it.
