hmm......porn destroying lives......i think people blame this cuz they doen't like to blame themselves. just like with TV and videogames. "Oh!! it's corrupting the children!!! noo!!! " people just want to blame something...what if there a problem with the family..like neglet.......i don't think porn is bad....drugs are bad cuz it harms the body and u can OD. can u OD on porn?

Frankly, I see nothing wrong with porn unless you're in a relationship and your partner disapproves.

Porn takes it one step further and lets men visualize the act of sex, causing even stronger stimulation. This can be very attractive to men and it really is not their own fault. Not all men can shut off this attraction, especially if they are born with a higher than average Libido.
If you say that they should just control themselves you are really asking them to try and control a biological drive they are born with. Most females have difficulty putting this into perspective. If as a female you don't understand how men can get into porn so much then you are failing to realize the difference in your genders.
Just like music. Most men like more energetic music most females like softer music. It more than a preference it is a biological difference in males and females.

I've even heard girls are being exploited by them making websites... while guys (and girls) are paying 19.95 a month just too look at them... see that's where things get fuzzy then... say you put up a site and get... 100 guys that pay to see you.
100 x 19.95 = $1,995 bucks a month extra in income.
Now as the site grows... that goes further and further up... if anybody is getting exploited it's the payers.

SOOOO true. Porn is degrading, disturbing, I think it's illegal in some countries, and it's just plain SICK. I was looking for anime mp3's on google, and some of the links to "mp3" sites were to porn sites. There were these pop-ups advertising the sites with pics that made me feel like
ripping my eyes out, plunging them into soapy water, and replacing them. The pop-ups took up the entire screen, you couldn't find the colse X, so you had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to close the nasty things.
And child pornography is a whole different chew toy. It's just WRONG. I can understand perverted adults looking at adult porn, but child? I know there's pedifiles, but seriously...If you saw The Butterfly Effect, there was the guy who did child porn. And isn't it child abuse?

Just a thought here, when I was 13 I didn't even know what porn was, where are your parents? Porn is also a valid alternative for married men, as you'll one day see, the longer you're married the less frequent physical intimacy becomes, and it's either web based, video or magazine porn or another woman you decide which you'd rather have your husband involved with. Like it or not, he'll likely be involved with one of the four if not more.

I think people are taking this a bit too far. Yes, porn can become addicting, as any pleasureable stimulant can be. And trying to keep it from minors is important. However, if you have your own morals, and you think its so degrading, then just dont look at it. People will look at it, regardless of rules put up. If you find yourself not accepting it, then good for you, dont look at it. Its really just peoples opinions.

Whenever I get a porno email , I have this sudden urge to discover a way to reach in through the internet and pull out the insignificant whelp who sent it to me so I can practice a few punches .

I like porn, I appreciate it for what is is, erotic entertainment. I don't like it when a porn director tries to make it all artsy fartsy, tere's no need. Many of the story lines in some of the "movies" are ridiculous and would rival any mainstream comedy for laugh value. I just think that too many people invest too much energy in it being something that's a problem or not a problem. I agree, child pornography shouldn't exist, and I have no interest in it. I don't, howvere, see anything wrong with 2 consenting adults being paid for performing in fromt of a camera. Most people in the porn industry have higher job satisfaction than any of us on here, I wish I could enjoy my job that much. Furthermore the only differences I see between a man and his wife setting up the digital video recorder and a porn set is that in one of them people are getting paid, and a lot of people are going to see it.
