That does not mean that animation in general was designed for children only. There are all forms of storytelling art that have been used for many purposes and for many age groups. Porn should not be banned, in any form or kind. If you are sick and want to watch kid porn, or porn where the person is killed afterwards, then you should be able to. There is no harm done in watching that. Many of us have watched the TV show COPS where people are doing drugs, speeding, running red lights, beating their spouses, all of which are illegal yet we watch it on broadcast television. If watching kid porn is illegal then watching COPS should be illegal.

There wouldn't be any porn what so ever if there wasn't a consumer base for it. I enjoy a little free internet porn (the adult variety) from time to time. I have had long term relationships where I was having sex fairly often and I still viewed the porn. It is good for a quick release every now and then. All males know what I am talking about if you are through puberty. Many women find porn repulsive, yet some of them read the romance novels that let you make up your own mind.

I don't like kid porn, I don't like hentai and neither do most of you, but that is no reason for it to be banned. There is nothing wrong with viewing it. If you are making the kid porn, now that could be considered illegal.

You can't just have the government ban everything YOU don't like, because somebody else out there may in fact like it. It isn't harming any of you or your property by having porn of any kind be legal. I get on the internet many times a day and I never see porn...only when I am looking for it. If you are visiting sites that do have pop ups and you find them annoying, get a pop up blocker or don't view that site. It is that simple. Don't hope the government bans it, because it may make you and a few others happy but it won't make everyone happy. It is too easy to not view porn, I don't see why it should be banned....and government should be the very last resort to turn to, but it has become the first resort. Everyone turns to the government to fix their problems. If we continue to do this, we will soon be a dictatorship. We are well on our way now. I guess freedom only means you are free minus an entire list of things that you think of. Just remember everyone else will have a different list, and then everything will be banned and the government will run your life how it wants to and not how you want it to.

Ok so their beef is with the forms of sexual freedom that are socially wrong. How is prostitution different from having sex with someone you don't pay to do it with? Sex is never free anyway. It seems they're completely ignoring the fact that people can become addicted to almost anything, even sex. There is no way to legally view child pornography is some countries but yet they're still getting arresting for viewing it. How is making sites use ID verification going to solve this? It depend on what people think these family values are. If their opinion is a family woh have loving parents who never look twice at another human no matter how attractive and only have eyes and sexual organs and hormones for each other then yes, it will erode "family values".

Google has a filter on their images which appears to have been on for months. I have been unable to find porn on their even when I tried to so people like you should have no problem.

Care to elaborate? I agree child porn is a big problem as they're only children and don't fully understand what they're doing, which is why 7 year olds don't have as much freedome as adults. Well, I'm new to using forums but I have a problem. My boyfriend watches porn and I don't know what to do. I don't want to be mad at him but at the same time it really bothers me. I don't like it at all. But he's addicted and can't tear himself from it. I've never looked at it or had any interest. I was just wondering what causes somebody to want to look at it? What about it or what feeling over comes a person who is addicted to cause them to have a need to look at it. I just want to try to understand a little better so we're not one of the statistics.
