Is there any explaination of vortexes yet? such as the Oregon Vortex?  i'm very interested in Anti-gravity, and it seems they might have something in common. also, What talk is going on about other dimensions, and could this have anything to do with vortexes?  Thanks ~Mentalcase ???

Vortexes are everywhere in the known universe. All the galaxies in the universe are in a vortex, we are literally in a vortex, even in an atom, where the electron is in a vortex around the nucleus. They all use magnetism/gravity and centrifugal force.

Although there are alot of vortexes and gravitational anomolies throughout the world, to my knowledge it is not yet understood exactly why. Vortexes aren't a type of antigravity, but it does seem to distort gravity. Such as the Oregon Vortex you mentioned(or any other vortex), it is easier to enter it than to leave it, time moving faster inside a vortex, and objects actually changing size inside a vortex; there are places where heavy objects could roll up hill, but you would have difficulties walking down the same hill.

Although I'm familiar with the topic, I have no understanding as to why these places seem to defy certain scientific laws-as we know them. Even animals avoid these places. I know of nothing as far as this relating to other dimensions. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Thanks man, I'm doing more research on this right now accually.  Wow, i didn't know the thing about the animals, wow!

Homer,

Some where in Richmond, West of Sydney there is this place called magnetic mountain. From what i've heard you can walk up the road, but find it hard to walk down because of the magnetic push. I personally have not been there yet, but i know plenty of people who have and one is my younger sister. She came home one night and told me about her experience for about an hour.

Specifically referring to the Oregon Vortex, it is said not even birds will fly through there. Native Americans wouldn't enter due to their horses being frightened to enter. I have never been there myself, but this is according to what I have researched. They have tours there, and since I have family less than 100 miles from there, I will check it out the next time I visit.

That was one of the ones I was referring to. They have gravitational anomolies in various places throughout the world.

My girlfriend and i were planning on taking a trip out to the Oregon one, and camp out for like a week.
A while ago (maybe two years) this guy was telling me about Vortexes, he was sayinng something about weather control and vacuums.  Have you guys heard anything relating these three?

Vortexes are vacuums. As far as the weather is concerned, what do you think tornado's and cyclone's are? They are weather generated vortexes. But I don't know anything about weather control and vortexes.

also, in the "Celestine Prophecy" the story mentions Vortexes.  they said the government was doing experiments and trying to break the wall into another dimension.  the land was very sacred, i think it was an old war ground or something. Native Americans were involved with this part of the story.

Although I have heard of James Redfield's Celestine Prophesy and the Nine Insights, I have never read it, so I can't comment on it. Although one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, it seems a little far fetched to me. But like I said, I'm not really familiar with it.

Yeah, it's a little far-fetched, but the book explains it well.  It's not really the point of the book, the point is "world vision" or awareness.  But they do get into talking about other "areas" of the mind and vortexes come up in there a few times. I'll have to give it a quick look-over.

I may give it a closer look too. If nothing else, it could be an interesting read.

I can say it's one of the best books out there for a spiritual adventure, pretty interesting book!

Ghostboo
maybe this is not the right thing to say but, what the hell is a vortex?
Homer
I would tell you Ghostboo, but then you would know...

Seriously, there are different types of vortexes. But generally speaking, a vortex is a swirling motion(usually of fluid) in a limited area. A cyclone or hurricane or tornado, for example, are vortexes.

The Oregon Vortex obviously doesn't swirl, however, like all vortexes, things that surround it get distorted and drawn to it's center.

I hope this helps.

So....

Could Black Holes and whirlpools be considered as vortexes?

Isn't there something about the atoms being taken apart/moved/displaced or similar inside a vortex?

Celestine Prophecy - interesting book(s)

Yes a Blackhole and a whirlpool are considered a type of vortex. Keep in mind that some vortexes require different forces for manipulation.

Only in the example of the Blackhole are atoms going to be torn apart and crushed into the singularity.

I'm not saying that vortexes are bunk, but I've been to the Oregon Vortex.
I noticed some clever carpentry that give an illusion of strange phenomenon,
but nothing convincing that anything else was going on. There WERE birds
flying around by the way.
the rebirth
ride the spiral to the end
it may just go where no ones been
