The way in which the forum handles image attachments in posts has been updated today. When an image is attached to a post, a 'thumbnail' representation of the image is displayed instead of text. Clicking on the thumbnail will bring up the full size image. An example can be found below, attached to this post.
Also, the maximum allowed attached images size per post is 250k, the total size of all attachments in a post cannot exceed this amount.
It is now also possible to attach images in private messages.

I kinda liked the other way, with only text. That way you could see how many people actually clicked on it. Is there anyway you can have that with the thumbnails too?

Unfortunately no, not that I know of. That feature is not supported for thumbnail view.
