QUOTE
Plutarch (Cheronia , 50-120 AD) "Themistokles XV"
"In that stage of the battle a bright light shined from Elefsis; cries and echoes rose from the Thriasian Filed to the sea, as if a huge crowd of thousand men whorshipping Dionysos walked towards the sea. Then from where the sounds of the crowd came a cloud rose to the sky, slowly and moved to the sea where the Persian ships had ankered."
Darmiachos
"In the year 468/7 BC a big and bright flaming object
fell on the ground after 75 days of curious motion in the sky"
Diodorus the Cicilean (1ST Century BC )
"In 372 BC a bad omen fortold the fall of Sparta. For many days a light was visible in the sky at night a light that looked like a ray of fire. A few days later the Spartan lost the battle"

I tried to search the web for more reference regarding the mentioned writers, but couldn't find much. Especially for this Damiarchos fellow, I found nothing, and I can't even remember anything about him from my Classic History lessons. I wonder if these reports are real.
